From what I have read about Otto, they generally focus on models of cars that no one has made before, hence their sheer variety of models. Granted, there are a handful that have been done (E36 M3 for example), but mostly they stick to cars not yet made in 1/18.

Yep. Too many unnecessary folds and creases for my liking. However, the Huracan just seems to look right. That's the only Lamborghini that I like really, of recent years. The Diablo was nice but everything after that sucks, (with exception of the Triple A Gillardo race car).
 
Well, in a way the Aventador is reminiscent of the Countach, which also has a lot of creases :sly:
And while the Huracan is nice, it has the same issue with the Gallardo and that is it looks sorta boring for a Lambo. The Murcielago also looked somewhat tame. All 3 look good to me though. Diablo is still the best on the other hand :drool:
 
I dunno, I guess I am just weird then for seeing a lot of Countach in the Aventador. Granted, I also hated the Reventon, yet don't see much in the Aventador.
 
Had to photograph the Cathedral for an artist's journal, ended up buying a Dinky Porsche 356a and a Corgi Footwork F1 car from a model shop in the market (pics soon). Very cool place, the owner allowed for bartering but I didn't bother for the 2 1/43s (£14, no boxes) but I'll be going back for the Sauber and the Porsche 911 GT1 next time (combined price on stickers- £55, I'll try my hand at bartering for them.
 
Bought this for a project years ago. Still haven't started today.

Nice. I have the AutoArt version, but I wish both went with the concept car/US market headlights instead of the ugly spider eye headlights standard in rest of world.

Was it from CK-Modelcars? Or do they now have a competitor for their "use as big of a box as we can without being questioned" game?
 
Booked a 1/18 Turbo 3.6 from GT Spirit a while back. As much as I like the black, I hope CK-Modelcars gets an exclusive color so I can get both. Would love to see red, my collection needs more red. The model should arrive next week I think.

Also, I am trying to hunt down a red Autoart 930 3.3 Turbo. I will pay any price, if any of you know of one for sale. ;)

:lol: I was not aware of CK sending big boxes, but no this was a private seller. One of those guys who play things a bit too safe (for my liking at least).
