So I accidentally un-subbed to the thread... :ouch:

However Im happy to be back and about halfway through watching Lemans this year I ordered these models at a "Lemans discount". :P
Now they're here, I must say Im impressed with them for 27usd each. The only thing I can whine about is the Vettes generic interior.

Will go well with my other Vettes: :)

Edit: Omg just saw the previous shots. The ones of the 996 & 997 GT3, the shot of the real and diecast Impreza, Evo VI TME as well as the interior of that HWE 458 from AMG are my favourites, all nice stuff!:)

I'm having trouble looking for a Ferrari 458 Italia Spyder 1/24 in red. I've looked at several websites and I've only found 1/18 scale. Does anybody know where I can get one?

I may or may not post my IXO 1:43s (Veyron, Murcielago, CCX, Zonda), my Jag XJ13 (also 1:43) and my Fiesta WRC (1:24) along with my limited edition Citroen 2004 Sardinia rally car and my McLaren F1 scalextric car.

Depends if I'm not too lazy.

Could you send me one of those ixo screw drivers in the process?
But really no idea why they use triangle headed screws...

Probably because people take them off their bases, and then drop them, break them and demand a refund, so they fitted an uncommon type of screw head.

I did the first part with my first Ixo model, but I didn't demand a refund, because the model was still fine except for the broken antenna, but I wasn't bothered because I was only 11. It was my Ixo 787B. But then again, what do you expect an 11 year old to do with a die cast model when they first get it?)

I should really get something, my IXO Zonda's wing mirror was loose from day 1 (got in a magazine which has been withdrawn) and the Lambo had weak Wing mirrors and a loose light cover.

The 'Segg and Bug' are fine, but as I say, the company who made the magazine refuse to do anything and IXO have told me to get in touch with the magazine company. Fair enough, it's been several years, but I paid for these magazines with my own money- I expected a little more than a book and a badly-cared for model.

Dont blame you mate. I woulda totally got a Spark Toyota TS030 1/18 and some (well alot) more stuff during this time too, but no $$$. :(

Still waiting for any images of my customized Le Mans 2005 winner. He told me I would get pictures Thursday or Friday evening, but I'm not hearing anything from him.

Holden, let me know if he's giving you any more info because he is being rather quiet on my side.

If he executes his work from basing himself off of real images, and not just using a generic paintscheme, then I might order more work from him in the future. I have this idea to buy 2 models from the same winning car, and sending one to him to get the finish line custom paintjob done. Then I somewhere find a single model, dual-story vitrine or make one myself and place the winning car with a nice plate in that vitrine, to show the car when it started, and how it crossed the finish line.

I'd really like to do this with last year's winning Audi R18. But it all depends on the quality of what the guy will deliver me if I go through with it.

Will do it was supposed to be done today but with my custom stuff I just leave the people to it as if it was me I'd hate people emailing me every day.

Oh good lord, the beauty HPI has come up with!

That black Loctite version reminds me from a Le Mans game from way back on the PS1. The memories!
