I was thinking AWD... cause the extra push outta corners.. but I just could not bring myself to see you using the Alto works... and I could not think of another AWD under 200 Hp...

SINISTER!! O_O

My sexxy car will prevail over the fugly DAMNIT!!

AWD is better because it doesnt oversteer like FR or MR does, at least with Sim tires on, and as the HP isnt insane it doesnt understeer much either, thus makeing it supirier (for my driving style) than the FR, MR and FF.

Your so called... LOGIC... will not prevail...

Tough that makes all too much sense. However, I suck at AWD... so bleh

:D

Why dont you have a run in the T300 and T400 classes

Touge 200
T1: 28.826
T2: 1:02.721
Lap: 1:27.549

Alto Works 197hp

Touge 300
T1: 28.772
T2: 1:02.225
Lap: 1:27.481

EVO IV 298hp

Touge 400
T1: 26.867
T2: 58.640
Lap: 1:22.857

22B STI 398hp

All laps are clean :D

Cause I want a wheel for the extra power...

And I will not resort to that AWD pansy crap, nor that EVIL ECONOBOX OF DOOM

T200 - MR-S - 202 HP (Finished breaking in... no plan to change the oil) :scared:

T1 - 28.986
T2 - 1'02.537
Fin - 1'27.539

And I know I can get a few more tenths outta it, just having issues putting it together... looks like my thumb has a circle in it now as well... which means blister :p

I did try the Alto out... its just not for me... and its ugly...

I might go into the T300 and T400 in a bit...

With an MR car none the less :sly: I don't need your silly AWD. And I'm consistently driving low low 1'28s and high 1'27s. Ticked off quite a few mids as well now.

AWD has the issue of masking excessive wheel spin, as you don't have the typicaly indication of under or oversteer. It just kinda slide a little weird. I'm not good a picking it up, so I'm not gonna fiddle much with it. And perhaps the MR-S is just winning cause its sexier.

And yeah, the run is nice and clean :sly:

FEAR THE MR-S... DEATH TO THE ECONOCRAPBOX

I am the MR guy, so most everything I run will be MR no doubt. The AWD will show its self more there for sure, up in the T300 and T400 classes..

i dare you to take on my wraith in the T300 and T400 :sly:

Azuremen
T200 - MR-S - 202 HP (Finished breaking in... no plan to change the oil) :scared:

T1 - 28.986
T2 - 1'02.537
Fin - 1'27.539

 that just about sums it up

how on earth did you do that...beat me by 4 to 6 tenths per sector.... I knew my first sector was slow, but I had thought the other 2 were respectable.....
~TankSpanker grabs his DS2~

lol, im sure i'm now officially out of the running in T200

edit:
well maybe not
found more grip with my settings, and got down to 1'28.5xx. Just 1 second to go!
all i can do is keep at it i guess. Still killing me by a good 6 tenths in the first sector though. I dont think my diff is setup as effectively as it could be to get me around turn 1

I don't steer past the apex at all on the first turn... its all throttle steering at that point. My LSD is setup to mininmize the need to turn, and to allow precise throttle steering... Looking at the replay, ou;d almost think I had a wheel with how smooth the gas tends to be.. ;)

Togue 300
T1-29.252
T2-1'02.450
T3-1'27.309

will edit with sector times in a sec

You guys are beast!!! I'm not even going to post my time. It's embarassing compared to yours!

in the T200 i had a T2 of 1:02.0xx and i wrecked it at the last corner, it would of been a sub 1:27.000 for sure,

Smallz... I've found a better line I think as well... getting close to pulling time out again, but I've been pretty busy all day... so not much has gone into it...

still just running in the mid 1'28 range
going to retune and change lines in the first sector tomorrow and try dropping T1 into the high 28's instead of the 29.2 and 29.3 slump that im in currently

had planned on doing it today, but Azuremen kept me chatting all night - im sure it was so i would have less time available to blow away his laptime
:sly:

oh, and ill see if i can run a few T300 times tomorrow too Suzuki, i'll need a break from the frustration that will undoubtedly ensue from my T200 efforts.

Oh... I can tune an MR2 GT-S to run that with :sly:

I can't seem to put my lines all together at the moment.. I found a faster line at the first turn... but combinig that with the line at the tunnel is hard... the slightly faster straight speed makes entry a little harder (yeah, the 1 or 2 mph is making a diff :indiff: )

It sure does!

Swift
It sure does!
ya, azuremen and i compared sector times in the analyzer mode
we're near identical through the first hairpin, but on his 1'27lap, he exits it the analyzer mode's 2nd sector 3mph faster than me and gains 0.4 on the kinks in analyzer mode sector 3 between turn 1 and tunnel 1
i need more work
fixing that would get me into the 1'28.1 range

ran a 1'26.487 in T300 just now, with much room to get faster - it was a pretty ugly lap by all standards with a couple of little smokey drifts added in for good measure, but 2 wheels remained on the tarmac at all times

Evo VI RS - no oil change

nothing new to report on my T200 class results, and i dont expect there will be :indiff:

gonna stop posting results for a bit now - this is the third time i've come back to edit this one.

edit#4
ok, T300,
i have ran my evo in a 1'25.1xx, however it wasnt clean.
I ran wide at the exit of turn 1, and consequently lost time doing so, as i consistently run a fraction faster through there than my ghost is right now.
Just have to pull another fast lap together, hopefully in the 1'24.X range.

Just tought I'd make it known. :sly:
still much room for me to get faster, as stated. currently in the process of retuning my diff a little - car cant decide whether it would prefer to eversteer or understeer.

Yeah, I need to put that analyzer to more use.

Okay, comp in T300 just got more intense.

I just ran a lap of 1'26.006, lots of work left on the settings. LOTS.

Your Evo's will be smited by a coupe of AWD power!! Sekshi coupe of doom!!

EDIT - new times

Dropped the AWD crap for my beloved MR layout

Current best at 299 HP
T1 - 28.282 (I saw a 27.8xx, but stuffed it)
T2 - 1'00.598
Fin - 1'24.991

In a different car, from a different country, far far away... at 293 HP...
T1 - 27.340
T2 - 59.388
Fin - 1'23.913 And lots can come out of it :dopey:

Its not legal, but I just wanted to see. Its my designated Time Attack car normally. Some of the WRS racers may know it.

Anyhow, improvements will be seen.

Azuremen
Okay, comp in T300 just got more intense.

indded it did....
T300 Subaru 22b (yes, i switched allegiances)
T1 - 27.947
T2 - 1'00.423
Laptime - 1'24.975

only been running with the cars for about 2hours, and this was at around 2am to 4am - so i certainly wasnt at my best
lap still felt a bit sloppy. Stayed on the tarmac, but didnt make full use of the trackwidth in several places. Line issues, etc. I hope i can pull it together today and get a really fast one in. However I'd made a deal with myself last night that i was to goto bed after breaking into the 1'24 area.
(consequently, i ran this lap about 5mins after you signed off Azuremen)

edit
new one:
T1 - 27.942
T2 - 1'00.440
Lap - 1'24.699

made all the time in the last sector, as you can see. Still more time to be shaved

i have a 1'31.1xx with my mr-s but i didnt save the replay so no checkpoint times. :(

however....here are my ITR times.

Integra Type R - t200
T1 - 0'30.985
T2 - 1'08.758
Final - 1'33.787

do i have the fastest FF time? (or itr time at least)

fastest ITR thus far, as it is the only time submitted for it
Azuremen had a quicker FF lap in his Vitz tho (1'32.696)

just over an hour to go everyone, get the times in

Tank, sorry, but I made a comeback...

T300 MR-S Turbo...
T1 - 27.992
T2 - 1'00.275
Fin - 1'24.578

And I saw a T1 in the mid 27s ;)

I'll go put down a few more Vitz times now... and maybe T400, but I'm not liking the idea of that much power...

Omnis, whats the power on the ITR, and you can go full tune as well ya know, except for power...

EDIT... just saw you were in T200, so nvm :p

lol, i knew you'd show up with a quick lap
nice time Azuremen. 👍 looks like it's lightness pulled through in the last sector for you
I have no defense to that, other than to say i didnt get to do as many runs as i wanted. Oh well. Always the next one

TankSpanker's Final Times:

T200
MR-S - 202hp (clearly not my car)
T1 - 29.455
T2 - 1'02.291
Lap - 1'28.496

T300
22B - 301hp (made the switch to it late, probably could have gone much quicker if i gave myself more time)
T1 - 27.942
T2 - 1'00.440
Lap - 1'24.699

Also ran:
T200
AE86 - 202hp
T1 - 31.551
T2 - 1'07.839
Laptime - 1'35.127

STOP!
times up :D

rest of the times are late -
(i dont mind too much though, test round of an unnoficial contest, submit whatever you have)

i'll compile these couple of results and post them up here in a few
