For me on YouTube it was before I could skip, so before 5 seconds in. I'd advise extreme caution, especially when watching Christmas vids.
Good thing I find out this stuff so you don't have to, eh?
 
One of the local radio stations goes into 24/7 Christmas music mode starting tomorrow morning. Whamming imminent.

YouTube's mobile site doesn't display any ad on my Lumia, and so does the app on my old E72. Not sure about other devices/OSs, I'll have to check.

This would be a fun thing to do, especially since radio stations around here seem to have it as their favorite song :p. I have it as one of my favorite Christmas songs.

My love for Christmas music overrides my hatred of Last Christmas. I may wait until Thanksgiving to start tuning in though.
 
I'm just waiting for the mass Whamming when something lots of us watch has it playing. For example, if it was being played to the crowd at the Brazilian Grand Prix (Why, I dunno, but go along with it) and it was caught on the world feed, Whamming the majority of GTPers.
 
Maybe Jordan (or whoever runs the YouTube channel) can put it in the GT6 videos that have been going up lately ;)

@Justin could "accidentally" link the Pick Form for the Fantasy F1 in the PMs to said video, instead of the actual pick form.

I use adblock too, but there's a problem. I've had multiple occasions (doesn't seem to happen anymore though. But it could) where Adblock (for both Chrome and Firefox) wasn't blocking Youtube ads. Or maybe it's just a problem for me.

I actually considered that possibility. :lol: I just watched the new VW vid at Ascari with the sound off just in case.

Well, there was a similar incident last year. I read last years thread all the way through, it is hilarious, and I urge anyone with a spare 15-20 minutes to do so.
 
First year I'm going to try this. Hopefully my family takes it easy on the Christmas music.
 
What TV channels and programs are playing this ad? I want to know if I can watch any sports without being whammed.
 
Looks like the shopping centres and malls've already started playing Christmas music here. This year's going to be somewhat tougher for me, compared to last year. :scared:
 
Let's see if I can find more success this year, count me in. :)
