As long as you don't have Spotify that plays adverts, you should be fine then.
 
I use Pandora and even then I've steered away from using that. I'm also avoiding the plays-random-crap-from-every-decade radio station I like when I'm driving the kids around. It's cutting into my options a bit. :lol:

That's what he gets for trusting me...

First night in Aberdeen and still not Whammed. Things might change over the next 2 days though.
 
Heard a cover today, close.

It's not bad for being next to an awful station blaring awful Christmas music for 4 hours though.
 
Am I the only one who hasn't heard a single cover version? Or are they so far from memorable that they escape one's mind almost instantly?

Nope, I haven't heard anything either. No covers, no reals. Please let it stay this way!
 
And I haven't seen a single NOW! TV advert this month. Either I'm lucky not to have heard it twice, or unlucky to have heard it once... in November no less

Dodged it, from memory, Wham! is either the first or second clip played in the ad.
 
No wham for me today. I drove around all day listening to radio, and went to 3 Christmas things, Including a parade. I'm a dangerous man.

Welp. My work started playing actual Christmas music instead of their even worse pop-style counterparts. 4 more scheduled work days stand between me and Key West Florida, so if I can make it that far I'll be safe.
 
I've heard so many covers and so many people singing it, but I've yet to hear the original.
 
My dad called me while he was in the car. He put the phone close to the radio. Long story short, I was Whammed again.

I went to a shopping centre yesterday, and I didn't hear it once. :D

I've survived so far, but I have had a couple of near misses. It's an interesting ride...

EDIT: I'll detail one near miss. The teacher was about to put on a Christmas CD in assembly, and I knew it would have Wham! there somewhere... So, I ran from the assembly hall and hid for ten solid minutes. It was TOTALLY worth the detention! :)
