I watched Christmas specials and listened to Christmas music all day yesterday, and I didn't get Whammed!

Close one this morning!

Xmas CD advert came on, so for safe measure I dashed out the room!

^ Put that man on suicide watch!
I was cautious though, and I watched more movies than I listened to music. They're playing the joyous ones right now, (Holly Jolly Christmas) in a few days it'll die down and they play the slow ones, AKA Last Christmas. :scared:

In French? ♪À Noël Dernière, je t'ai donné mon cœur. Mais le jour prochain, tu en as fait.♫
I suck at French, that took me like 5 mins to put together...

@VANDENAL added you 👍

You forgot the hat. :p

EDIT: Wish me luck, going to the mall today to watch a movie :scared:

^^ Really?

Being from the UK, I have heard that song against my will so many times. This year, I genuinely haven't heard the song and I'd like it to stay that way. Kudos to whoever came up with this idea.

It's easy to play the game here. The only Christmas music I've come across is in the shopping centre. The radio isn't playing it yet. :D
And no Wham. 👍

I do quite a bit of driving so I like to have it on.

I like to drive too but I have made a compilation of music and I use a thumb drive to play it over the USB setting on my radio.

If your car doesn't have a USB option, use AUX or get an FM transmitter.

My car has those options (USB and AUX) but I listen to either syn fm (school/college radio, mostly talk back stuff) or the rock stations. They don't play Christmas music (well yet) so I should be fine for at least a week more.
I like living on the edge. :sly:

^^

You reminded me of the time someone posted a very long line break between three sentences: He was in --> Wait for it --> Bed

Count me in! I read this thread a couple of days ago but forgot to comment. Today, the local rock station went ahead and scared the crap out of me by playing "Last Christmas"... The Jimmy Eat World cover.

...Whew!

I can't remember the last time I heard a cover version of "Last Christmas", plus I haven't heard the original in almost 2 years (I really should have taken part in this last year). Thanks to the post that disinfected made the other day, I now know that this song has been covered far more times than I ever imagined.

Also, the fact that you've posted outside of a certain thread for once is both surprising and totally unexpected. Welcome to the rest of the forum.

In December MTV and VIVA are going to play the video almost every hour. So does every radio station. Last year the song was even used in two TV commercials. The only way to avoid the song, is to avoid TV and radio.

MTV... play the video

I don't understand... Are you saying your MTV station plays music videos? Like some sort of... music... television station...?

Oh Yurop, you so weird...

I'm just as surprised as you are. I've no idea how I ended up in this thread.

*Shifty eyes*

Tell no one of what you saw here today.

I must ask, I haven't heard the real song so far. Luckily. But I did happen to hear someone in the school's music room (?) rehearse the song acoustically. Does this count? :p

Excuse me if it's been discussed. I haven't really been frequenting this thread that often.

EDIT:

Stupid question.

I guess I'll use this space to say that we've had an alarmingly low amount of Christmas songs so far. ;)

Only the Wham! version counts, you're good.👍
