I think he was meant to say VH1 instead because I know that that channel will be playing "Last Christmas" on an almost hourly basis at this time of year.

It's a good job I don't get VH1 in my house though, but I do have VIVA (which is basically MTV with added Fresh Prince).

For those that live in the UK, 'Last Christmas' has been made even worse. The cast of The Only Way Is Essex has covered it for charity........

Was in the car and my sister was flipping through songs on my mom's iPhone. I only heard the first 15 seconds but I'm out.

It was of course time for the advertisement-based TV channels to start showing commercials for something like "Absolute Christmas Vol 6³ x 2 x ∞³". One swap, and you're dead. I happened to overhear my brother swapping. And then the exposure to 3,5 seconds of ear cancer. Gonna be fun following the remainder. :lol:

At this point, I think the most likely way I'll lose is if my sister decides to play that song at some point.

Yes. I tried to convince her to turn it off. But she was driving, so the radio was entirely up to her because I'd rather not fight over it and cause an accident.....although in retrospect I'm not sure I made the right choice.:lol:

I tried to turn it off before I knew it was the original, but I was too late.

Also, my mom doesn't even seem to know half of whats on her iPhone. She seemed confused about that along with all of the other songs she was skipping through. So I chalked it up to that rather than poor taste in music.

It would not have made much difference as it was playing as walked through the door at home after work last night. Even in China there is no escape!

Does it count if the song is actually playing in the background, for some some odd reason or whatever it is you're doing, you don't realize it until you leave said location and your friend tells you?

If you notice it playing, or you remembered it playing then you're out. I've told people that if you're zoned out/hammered/asleep when the song played and you don't remember the song playing, then you're out.

Also Freddie Kruger's playing Last Christmas in my dreams again :scared:. Heard it last night when asleep (there is no way it was playing though. MP3 Player was off, all electronics were off and my family doesn't know I can't listen to the song so they haven't tried ruining my life playing the song yet).

That's twice now :nervous:

Yep its located near bay city and saginaw. ( jk ) i dont really live in hawaii but ive been to kaanapali multiple times.

I'm out. For the first time in six years. Heard the track during shopping in a supermarket. But it doesn't matter. I already heard it once this summer. This was of course outside the competition period, but in my opinion you only win if don't hear the song at all during a complete calendar year.

Every bloody night. :grumpy: The radio just can't leave it alone.

Thank God I was out before December because if I wasn't I definitely would be.
