Half asleep at the wheel last night, i discovered that hearing the word "wham" on the radio wakes one up.

Luckily i jumped towards the volume knob before the song started.

Lucky Im out. I was just re-Whammed! I let my guard down and I get Whammed! for a second time.
 
I just nearly Whammed myself...

I though I'd have a bit of Chrimbo music, and I recalled I had a CD in my car of Chrimbo stuff from a couple of years since - but it had Wham on it. Great idea - rip the CD, reauthor, no Wham. Of course, listening to the tracks first would be a dumb idea, right?

I got to 4 before I realised. It turned out Wham was at 7... Phew!

My wife had put on the David Gest (:scared:) Top 50 Christmas Magic Moments on MTV - obviously I couldn't say anything. I was hoping my luck would hold out as it was already down to the top 3 and surely it can't be that far up that chart. Could it? Yep, number 3.

The most worrying thing for MTV was that Maria Carey was no.1! :sick:

Too fast and I presumed there'd be at least three Christmas songs in the history of music better than Wham! My presumption has cost me dearly... :grumpy:

Or, being pessimistic, a gtp'er could have died in a horrific crash while the song "last christmas" was playing on his stereo.

Either way, the point is, stop driving if you feel tired.
 
I'm still in this... amazingly not heard it yet. In fact, beyond the fact that George Michael has pneumonia at the moment I've heard very little of or from him this Christmas so far...

Mines going up on the 20th. Can't wait, just for my little sister of course, not that I'm a big kid that loves trying to electrocute my cousin by handing him wet fairy light plugs. :odd:

It looks sounds like the radio stations forgot about christmas this year... Good for me! Just because I said that, I will probably get Whammed! tomorrow.

Ooh, la dee da... Actually, I was at Asda yesterday and bought some grey poupon just because of that parody in Wayne's World. They were playing Christmas songs. The only one I recognized was "Christmas time" by the Darkness.

Still safe, but Asda is a danger zone. My girlfriend wants to go ice skating this week. That's a danger. :scared:

:lol: I would have thought my mind wouldn't pick up any Christmas music, or it being mentioned. But boom, you hear it mention and the first thing your mind makes you do is run out of the room screaming. I got told off for running through the house.

I can't beileve there was actually music on MTV, normally it's Jesery Shore marathons or some other rubbish. :boggled:

I have survived 2 days :)

I will definitely not be able to finish because in school some teachers like to put christmas songs on youtube in the last week of school before the holidays... Maybe if I get them to put on a cover instead of the original?
 
I was whammed about 30 minutes ago. I couldn't have done anything about it either. The shopping center got me. :grumpy: I was just minding my own business walking to EB games then bam.
It made me feel stupid too as it gave me a huge grin because I couldn't just start swearing in the middle of the shopping centre. :lol:
