I managed to escape disaster. I somehow managed to avoid being Whammed at the dentist office which is a miracle. I thought that I was out, but as I listened to the song that I thought spelled my doom (the pitches were way too close to Wham! so I had to try to hear the song), I realized that it wasn't "Last Christmas." It's a good thing too since I would have bowed out on a technicality if I couldn't hear the song.
 
Managed to spend 3 hours in the mall without being Wham!med. Not that it matters after being massacred by Akmuq

4: Again the college café has a love for wham.
5: Helping decorate the house, Mother decided to blast Christmas music.... it was inevitable.
6: Collage today Christmas music was playing, look to the computer and its the Now Christmas playlist. No escaping that one :lol:

Whenever someone puts on a playlist for Christmas music, why is it always the first to come on? I can honestly swear multiple people have been Whammed by it being the first song on a playlist... It's like they know that some little internet site on the internet is spending its holiday season avoiding it. Maybe this will become a conspiracy. Maybe Wham is trying to avoid us, but is just really bad at it! Maybe there is a God somewhere, and he really loves Last Christmas! Maybe I should shut up!!
 
Saturday was close. Went to the local game store, they setup a CD player with Christmas songs. Last Christmas was one of them, BUT, it was a cover. Also told my friend, who apparently has gained a RAPID hatred for the song, that this was a thing.

This is how I almost got potentially Whammed once. My chemistry teacher decided to put on some Christmas music one day earlier this month, but she couldn't find the cord for her speaker. However, I can't confirm that Last Christmas was on the playlist.

My son had a choir performance tonight. The first thing I did was look at the playlist for Last Christmas. It wasn't there but Santa is the man was. :lol:
 
I thought for sure I'd be Whammed at the bowling alley last Saturday. I was there for a good three hours and Christmas music was playing the whole time. No Last Christmas, not even a cover. At least I think it didn't play, if it did I was focused on other things and blocked it out.

Today folks, I share a ghastly tale of fear, intelligence and outright deceit. I had gathered behind the screen to spend time in Grand Theft Auto with a well known chum, we shall name him "Midget." I'm going to speak normal now, because this is getting far too difficult...

Pretty much, @SVX tried to invite me to a GTA session that had @Daniel in it so they could Wham me (Midget said Wham was already playing when he got in there), but I sent the Midget in there to scout the truth, and he came back with evidence so I just ignored them. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to change my underwear.

Dodged a bullet today.

In the Outreach Activity I had today, they were playing Christmas music, including Last Christmas.

The Last Christmas was in fact an Ariana Grande cover and not a Wham! Cover.

I'm safe for now.
