Why not do a credit cap of 200,00CR (without modifications) and nothing under 850kg/1874 lbs with weight reduction? That way cars are a lot more even. you can change these numbers just a idea.

I'm also not keen on the credit limit, but the minimum weight is a đź‘Ť from me.. Well, the elise is banned only on 1 reason i guess, it's lightweightness.. So, with a restriction on weight limit, maybe it will reduce the unfairness.

Also, why no put a pp restriction? Example, for T200, with a max of 200HP combine with a 400+pp limit, it should be adventurous. Just my 2 cent..

I'd thought of a PP limit as well but I feel as if that's kinda broken too, considering the Elise is about 450PP at 200HP and an EK Type-R is about 415PP at 200HP.

I'm for a weight limit; if I was to propose one, it would be 900kg with the exception of kei cars, which would likely be somewhere at 700kg.

I think it's got some looks to it, a bit angular and weird for my taste but still beautifully functional nonetheless. Other than that, you're right.

And yeah, I gotta say it's pretty fast, but I'm going to find something faster and FR/NA or AWD/TC for my T300. Likely FR/NA.

Moar editz: One of my potential T300 cars just ran a 3:01.576, My updated RX-7 runs a 2:59ish.. hm, I don't want to use the same thing again. Perhaps we should group NA and TC/SC cars differently? NA gets a lot less torque and can be a lot slower because of this in high speed sections.

Not moaning, this shootout is still a work in progress. :sly: They do it on Hot Version I believe; they'll separate NA and forced induction cars until the finals. Or maybe I just haven't watched it in a really long time.

I am in Solid's room now, tweaking my S15 Varietta :)

Got Dc'd while changing cars :(, will try to rejoin.

Bummer, shutdown error, looks like my HDD is getting a lot of corrupt data :( maybe it's time to change HDD .... just had another shutdown browsing games on XMB's game folder ... :grumpy:

My EG6 is completed as well!! Damn, I fell asleep in my own room and just woke up late for work! yikes! see you guys when I get back, I'll be hosting a lobby again.
 
Might scrap my Roadster off the 200 list, we'll see though. While that, been playing rFactor more than GT5 lately, that's not good O_O.
 
I just want to say, thank you, Mat, for creating and hosting this Tuning Shootout Series. It's the best thing to happen to the touge community since L.o.t.S.!

It just handles so good now. Has very minor understeer if you drive like an idiot though.
 
Room Closed.

Don't think I'll be using the Hommell - Even with my best efforts thrown in it's still too slow. Feels great to drive, but it's not in the same league as other cars. Tried an almost stock (P) RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) and thrashed my best Hommell time easily by 2 seconds (3+ seconds on try-hard mode). Hmmmm what to do, what to do.
