Damn, had been just a day without login into GTP and now even T300 is already closed.. Been nagging to enter since forever.. :ouch:

Nvm, i'll wait for TMax.. Mat, hopefully, you will enlist me in TMax.. :nervous:
 
So after a few days, I've finally decided to play GT5 today. I start it up, and what welcomes me first? A black screen.

I exit the game, try it again. This time, I made it past the opening movie... But the main menu doesn't 🤬 load!

After more than 10 tries (I lost count.), I've been able to access GT Life only 4 times, but I couldn't access my lounge room!

God dammit!!

Until now, I still haven't been successful. I'm already starting to give up on this game. Nothing new, nothing to do.

Take note, I've been trying since 20. minutes ago.

Also, for some reason, my Internet works fine for the rest of my games. Just not GT5. 👎:ouch:

EDIT: Finally made it to the lounge room!

On the main menu, were you can select between GT Life, Arcade, Track editor, etc. Go to options, then go all the way down to network, and it's one of the options.

Started new T300 project as the old one was traded for something I wanted for a while. tuning resumes for me.
 
Uhh&#8230;guys, mind if I make a quick suggestion? I've been thinking recently, since the Max class did end up being an E-Penis war with power (I started with 500hp, Snake came along with 550 as did Ridox, then the nutter RS6 with 950hp and everything in between), maybe with TMax, split the categories between "TMAX" and "T<400/500hp", so basically, either create a new sub class to run in TMax or a new class altogether.

Why? Well, there are plenty of cars that are really very good and some which can be quite fun to tune, but as long as there's the power variable involved, these cars (S15s, NSXs, and even the Supra since anything over 500hp requires such a long 1st gear to get the power to the ground, you could pretty much drive the entire track in 2nd) really don't get any real time in the spotlight. Hell, even my Impreza, which only benefited from the tight 1st section of Eiger, is part of that list. Something like a T400/T500 class would make give these cars a chance to shine, no?

Power is corruptive, and is only usable on the touge if the chassis and tyres can handle it. There's always a war over "I've got more power than you; thus, I am better." and I like the challenge of a faster car to catch up to. Some cars just can't handle the power and aren't fast enough to worry about, while others are terribly quick in their own right (EK and the Impreza here). And then we get the lardy RS6, which is too heavy to be fast in the corners but blistering on the straights. You're always trading power for weight or stability, so you never really win. I'm not terribly worried about a power restriction.
 
I have just watched the video Touge Showdown and it looks fun lol. You should make this into some online events with the same tuning-rules for the tuned cars. I'd race that!

EDIT: I just posted this reply right after the vid and scrolling down halfway the OP and thought you would have a range of cars with tuning after these restrictions. If theres any races going on I would like to join :)

Its not a bad idea but I have to agree with robrabbitman on this one for the same reason. And don't worry Onboi, my MA70 will be around the 550BHP mark so you're Impreza will have company. :p
 
I think my Max car has over 800 horsepower. That said, how does 300 hp, 311 ft lbs torque, and 1107 kg sound?
