Got the car ready. Tested it a bit, adjusted a few settings(Type B) and ran faster. Marked 35.027 in Sector Section(Sector 2).

Which are the fastest of all three :sly: ? Mat, you will be using the MR2 that you used against my G4 and Spitfire ... mmmm, Takumi said he has 35 seconds S2 time .... I will need to do some more testing then ... if only my little Devil Z has 2 liter engine, arggh.

KPGC 10 ? Is it on share ? I just got 35 seconds sector 2 time at Akina with the Spitfire :D still very loose at the rear :( Join in Takumi's room, I will be rejoining after dc'd just now :/
 
It looks like the three MR2s are also white (or of that shade of colour), but mine doesn't run a wing.
 
How much different is Offline to Online time wise?Does it vary by Tuning?
Because Online my T300 s2000 (300hp) was out handling The Tuned 350Z's the Opera(ugly standard one) and the Amuse (380RS) at Suzuka East. (they flew by on straights but kept up for a bit)
Which leads me to believe this is a good tuning, Yet offline I struggle to break low 3min laps at Akina. Just me or is this normal?
May try the Amuse 380-RS at Akina Offline just to see what it runs in comparison to my T300's.

If you don't know the track well, then of course you'll have trouble being consistent.

Also, if you're gonna tune FOR Akina then you should tune AT Akina. Mainly because the road surface is tarmac and not the same asphalt found on nearly every other world circuit. Therefore, tires behave differently. That affects acceleration, breaking and, most importantly, cornering. Especially the grip threshold at which tires have most adhesion and the point when they lose grip altogether.

I'm within one one-hundredths every lap and car is tuned in Akina just wondering if online has better physics?
Seemed faster at Suzuka online than offline just wondering if im not imagining that, If so what would be different between offline and online?
Can I tune to compensate?

P.S(At Mt.Akina) Car seems to only lose grip if you fail to brake soon enough then it will slide a bit. Other than that no loss of grip just peaceful car unless you decide to go FULL-ON Attack-Mode in which case it's Faster even though it's losing grip! ( latter method works best down hills)
tune reminded me of Joushima's ("Godhand") S2000 so painted it that way..

With 2.09, online and offline are the same, I tested + tuned all my cars for this shootout offline, then I also run them online both at Eiger ( last season ) and Akina ( this season ). My experiences this season with G4, S14, Spitfire, S30 Fairlady, they handle the same and have similar time both online and offline, I always run with tire wear on, grip real.

I Wasn't completely sure if it was same or not may have just been lucky draft or different asphalt road surface as Snake said.

Offline + Online both w/tire wear off = same
Offline + Online both w/tire wear on = same
Offline w/tire wear off + Online w/tire wear on = not the same
Offline w/tire wear on + Online w/tire wear off = not the same
