No, it's an R35. And if anyone decides to bring another R35, I will bring the pink monster and everyone will die.

Needs more Kia.

Also just popping in to remind the testers in advance to break in a brand new FR-S and don't change the oil on it. 👍 I still don't understand why free DLC cars aren't just in the game to be traded as normal, like the GT86 and the 2011 NASCAR cars.

"Fat Man" is coming, run the hell away. TMax will become a post-nuclear dead wasteland with these things around, as said just now.

Yes, that means I'm pulling out of TMax before it even begins.

It's Fatman from Metal Gear Solid 2. That's the joke.

@Onboy be careful what you ask for...was in a lobby with several of these jokers last night called Touge Mountain tracks or some such...they were running on the ring.
Stepped away from my system for a few minutes to get some food and when I come back they're all running F40s!
Must say was interesting though seeing a half dozen or so of them all chasing around the ring on SH tires.

That's the beauty of the ring: it's the definitive, neutral touge course for everyone. If ever we have a dispute or issue o settle, we take it to the ring.

And yes, F40's or SH tires is one of the reasons I still play GT5. Stock super cars on sports hard tires is some of the most fun you can have in this game, in my opinion.

Wouldn't an R35 be the Fat Man, and anything else would be Little Boy in comparison? Anyway, as soon as T300 is open, I'll post my entry. It might not be the fastest, but it sure feels great to me.

Not if I bring back my Dragon!:lol:
To be honest though I think I'll be looking for something a bit friendlier to drive this time instead of just going with a giant nuclear missile.:dopey:

@SolidSnake I'll probably be on in about an hour to try and test a couple possible T300 cars. Need to finish breaking one of them in first then get it tuned to 300HP.

I did say that though, didn't I?

Didn't know you were referring to my R35 :sly: Maybe it needs more power..

I was referring to RJs, but now that I think about it, it should just be R35s in general.

Not that I give half a crap about it anymore, since TMax is just a crowd of possibly well tuned dog turd now for all I care.

I found the R35's soul just now...

No, wait, that's just the limits of the stock AWD system. Oh. Might need to actually do an LSD package, the center diff is actually fairly intelligent so it can stay.

Anyway, it's on share. It's also probably not going to stay how it is for those who would benchmark it ;)

It's just a war over who has more power, really. I updated the suspension and LSD, but I might have to look into a little more power to get some extra oomph.

The R35 has no soul. It's just fast. I noticed that it was pretty fast with the stock torque split and differential around Eiger, but suffered elsewhere from excessive oversteer because the front tyres just slipped everywhere. An LSD is all it really needs to be a little faster. The stock transmission is made of platinum and diamonds, too. On an unrelated note, lower front brake bias seemingly helped oversteer on turn-in with a bit of brake pressure, leading me to believe the R35's brakes lock way too easily under our current physics, or ABS 1 isn't as strong as it seems.

To keep up, you might have to look into a lot more power... Provided I don't scare all the testers. In initial testing I was running it at just south of 700hp at full weight (full bolt-ons, no oil change) and it was already fast but way too easy to drive (my T300-spec Esprit was scarier) and, well, even with the ~845hp or so it's now running it isn't really overpowering the tires, but when you do get it a bit sideways you can tell it needs a front LSD quite badly (inside front spins pretty heavily) and the rear diff is causing an awkward understeer situation at times if you're forced to lift as the car has just started to get a small rear slip angle.

Eyup.

Hmm... Up until I hit the full stupidity (1497kg, 845hp) the stock LSD was absolutely perfect for my suspension setup, now it's showing a few issues, partially due to how large of a change going from WOT to no throttle is in 2nd gear, partially due to trying to send 850hp through tires that are already at the limit of adhesion and succeeding except for the inside front. As for the brakes, I agree completely, they're more than a bit too willing to overstress the fronts, which leads into snap oversteer as you let off the brakes... I fix entry and the diffs, I have a car that works too damn well.

You're beyond insane. I'll consider dropping out, because there's no way I'm going to go max power on my GTR. :dopey: My updates aren't major enough to get a better score, just enough to squeeze a little more time out of the car. Any more power beyond 600hp and the car just doesn't handle as well on S3; plus, you're getting into the land of redundancy, where you and the Wallbanger will reign with your 800hp+ cars.

Yeah, the LSD is fine until you begin to add more power, and then everything goes crazy. I test on S1 before S3 mind you, so the stock LSD was out the window pretty quickly. Again, if there's another R35 on the loose with ~45-50% more power on tap, I'll have no chance other than the driving feel.

@Rob they don't call it TMax for nothing...:lol:
And I really am looking at tuning something besides an RS6 this time. Probably won't be as fast but should be a bit easier to drive and thus more fun.

700hp isn't even slightly scary in the R35 though! 850 is almost scary, but only almost. I'm sticking to my guns though; if another R35 shows up, my R35 shows up. No other R35? Well then I'll have some fun.

I'll prepare the bomb shelter. Onboy's taken the smart easy way out and fled.

I think it might be time to pull out the Phantom R... :p

I'll bring a 700hp R33 if there's no other R35. :D

I'll probably follow in Onboy's footsteps and just sit back and watch the nuclear war happen. I'm not letting T300 go without a fight, however. My FD is still the car to beat, not to mention my newcomer.
Am I the only one that's getting impatiently excited for T200's results and finals?

Edit: Woo, 300th post. Such a tiny number.

The current TMax Monster is my R35 GT-R, But I'm returning with another 4WD to see if i can take it down
Current Monster: GT-R R35 - 571Bhp @ 1530Kg
New TMax Car: ???? - 565Bhp @ 1580Kg but feels quicker 👍

I'm looking forward to T300 as my car if ready to fight

The nuclear war won't happen unless it happens. Like I said, no R35s = no R35s = no sending Pinkie in.

As for T300... Anyone got an R33 GT-R LM Edition available? Preferably worn out and unmodified. By LM Edition I mean the one that is actually an R33 GT-R, not the RWD LM Road Car. It's blue, if that helps.

Thank you RJ, the peace conference ends with the retracting of all rivaling R35s.

Of course, we all failed to mention that the said "Monster" of TMax was…oh right, a R35.

Let Nuclear War Commence!

You bring your R35, I bring mine. :sly:

I think I might have a GT-R LM Edition in my UCD if you want it.

TMax gets wiped clean off the map and sealed off since it'll just become a e-penis contest filled with R35 Spec Vs.

Forget that, I lied. :p
