I am running a race at Indy with Calsonic GT-R 08 and was wondering if someone could help me with a setup ( has to have 433 HP, Stage 2 turbo, Ballast 30 and tires have to be Racing Mediums with skid off )

if your doing indy oval easiest thing to do would be set your tranny final gear to get you the top speed of the car, if its indy road course you can check any of the tuning garages on here for gt-r setups for suspensions to help with handling. pretty much any gt-r 08 setup will work.

stock suspension is good for it, there isn't much that it can help, but adjusting the final gear might help you get better accel to top speed

with the settings you posted your car will only be able to hit around 170mph on the oval, setting the final gear to 3.840 will balance your speed and accel to pull a lap around 53-55 secs aslong long as you hold the gas down and dont hit another car

k, well that final gear will balance you out to hit top speed and hold it, might want to lower it a bit to compensate for drafting, but the standard suspension setup is decent for oval track since there isn't any hard turns.

but if you need a suspension setup or want to fine tune the gears a bit check out praiano's tunes, he has a good gt-r setup, he did it on the yellowhat i believe but it works on all race gt-r's

So set everything to default be sides the gears and the aero

yeah, i ran an oval, only thing i did was add the ballast you stated, the turbo lvl 2, race medium tires, and then lowered the power limiter to hit 433hp. on the straights i was peaking around 170mph, so i only adjusted the final gear to balance it. it's a quick fix

I run a Calsonic at an online league. It isn't the most powerful of the GT-Rs, so you'll need every bit of speed you can get out of it. Try keeping the default settings, but lowering the car height to front -5 and rear -10. The lower body will give you more grip at the corners and the lower rear increases top speed.

Hope this is helpful, but you'd be better off with the Xanavi or Motul GT-R's. I don't now why, but the Xanavi's engine revs at 12.000rpm while the Calsonic's stops at 9.000rpm...that makes a huge impact in lap times - around 1 sec in a fast track like monza...
