Ooops sorry if i said that, my bad. My brain is oooooover lol. I'm NAT 2 and my bandwidth is very often High, Normal sometimes.

Bandwidth has nothing to do with NAT type, as far as I know. NAT has to do with modem/router configuration, with NAT 1 being the best.

Good writeup Litchi 👍

I had a good battle with Nissen for the first half of the race, but he slowly pulled away and was 2+ seconds ahead around lap 12, so I pitted early on lap 14 to get a lap or two of winning seconds back.

Then everything went wrong, outbraked myself before final chikane and lost the seconds I had won on that lap, then got punted by hellboy who was literally all over the track. Never saw that bad lag before, seconds before he punted me I saw him going off into the grass twice, then jumping back straight on track.

Fastest lap happened shortly afterwards and that was at least something to be proud of. And I managed to slowly reel in hellboy over the latter half of the race, got the lead on the final lap but lost it again. But hey it was all fun anyway, and Nissen's victory and spot in the series is well deserved, fast and consistent 👍

Bit of a strange one for me..

Firstly the time issue (Seriously, I don't mind since I still got to race, but if I'd gone to make dinner and came back at 8pm GMT for the room to open, I'd have missed the race, that's not cool, whether it's for me or someone else - guessing it was just a mixup of timezones but the point remains!) meant qualifying was my first actual laps in the car, totally stock setup, so I knew my 3 laps resulting in P6 or P7 starting spot could be well improved upon.

Got up to P4 in the first lap and thought it should be no problem actually to hold on to the pace and look for a decent result. Then coming through 130R, Litchi had a big spin and through the tyre smoke there was zero visibility, hit him hard. Full engine damage = Pitting on Lap 1 to repair. Except now I'm going down the pitlane, I see the damage repairing itself... I now see the "Hosts, set damage to light" post made by Masi earlier in this thread, but couldn't it have been put in the Pre-Season Race Info too? Don't really have time to follow every post in the topic, and expected that Pre-Season Race Info to be pretty concise! :(

So from there I'm pretty hot headed to be fair, and put in lap after lap of qualifying laps determined to salvage something and at least see what sort of pace the car had in it, maybe learn something. Despite having to work through traffic I'm keeping the gap of 34 seconds (more or less a pit stop) to the leader, lap after lap, so that was good. Ended up finishing 5th after doing a pit stop more than virtually everyone in the field, but it was at least good practice for pushing hard lap after lap and being consistent about it.

Well done to GTP_Nissen - great pace and very consistent. GT300 looks to be better than ever 👍

Welcome to my world Mole :sly: and yes suzuka is a boggie track for the MR-S its low traction and lack of front end grip mid corner makes it an absolute 🤬 around here.

Proved by last season no matter how hard me and rav tried we were around 2-3 secs off on 2:06s... but atleast my pb from S2 was improved down to a 6.3 from a 6.7 lol (i think you could only manage a 5.9 with it with proves it further ) but cmon it might be slow but its quite fun :).

Rest of the tracks its no where near as far off the pace (I sorta hoped for Fugi :P)

I never said Bandwith has something to do with the NAT Type. I just share my configuration, nothing else. Anyway, I don't know how does it work. All I know is that I have a good connection for playing on GT5 ;)👍

But you have to admit the room was really sucky tonight Litchi the long blackscreen then the lag in the first few laps.

I also checked what green said and on my screen he warped behind after the first 2 corners  I actualy thought forget green behind me hes somewhere ahead im sure then the longer he was still behind I was like WTF .

So its either your connection wasnt quite as good as normal or more likely Gt5s sucky servers! :yuck:

Yeah, i admit but I think it's because of kiyak and hellboy's internet connection :( . Surely not mine.

Definitely server issues tonight.

Before this race I managed to get disconnected from my own private lobby where I was practising, alone.

Yup I think so. In Asian Region too.

Yesterday I race with my frined in my lounge and the other who want to join seems like hard to enter the room.

yeah litchi I seen him lagging at the first corner and just thought I'm staying well away from him lol.
I'm gona upload my vanishing act 2moro lol, it's amazing it's like paul and josh just teleport in front of me or I teleport behind them. I'm not sure what happened screen went black then I reappeard in the same place only like a few seconds later.

I had fun anyway thats the main thing lol

I cant find the link to where its says about the PP each car should be. Anyone have a link to it please?

Thanks CSL, but i found it eventually.
I was just doing to laps at Suzuka and i cant drive on these RH's lol. Plus its not one of my good tracks and maybe im just not in the mood today..lol

Well, I hope everyone will understand me (cause my english is very bad, sorry :( ) . I want to say something about de PP/HP/weight checks.

Last season, my first race was at Suzuka (7th round if i remember). I wasn't a steward, so the only thing that i had to do was to follow the rules and drive. I like to observe how the organizers are working to GTPlanet cause I'mm an organizer to GTPay so..;).
Last season, in each race that i have done, the stewards never done the HP checks. So, I didn't do it for this pre-season race.

As I can see, we have to do the HP checks. OK, i'll do for the next.

But:

- Weight checks: Is it necessary? Imo, yes but not for cars that have their minimum weight.

- PP checks: Is it necessary? Sure, yes!

- HP checks: Is it necessary? Yes but how to check (by exemple) a 509HP car? Indeed, we can check the HP only 10 by 10 so, how to check 509HP ? I wonder and I think that's why the stewards never done the HP checks last season...

It can be narrowed down that way, it makes it harder to install illegal mods and use different techniques to reach the PP level.

Example is the Z. If you didn't change your oil, you could make higher power at the same PP rating. It helps limit little things like that people can do. Big things like turbo's, bigger turbos, and engine stages will give themselves out easily enough.

Oh, ok, thanks.

So, why the stewards never done the HP checks last season in each races i have done?

You can set the HP to 509 and then check the cars on track. All the cars over 509hp will be reset too the lobby.

That was a hell of an race by me didn't put a foot wrong all race, and most important i secured my spot, can't wait for the start of the season.!

I know how to check, no worry. 👍 . But we can't set the HP 1 by 1 like PP's. This is the problem...

I found that a stock set up was faster......
I think I'm losing my race mojo too. It happens to me every now and then lol.

Agree to you. I set my NSX Setting to Default, and it was faster and easier to controll. Maybe I cant setting this car well.

I follow the tutorial from GT5wiki and it still sucks. Huff.
