Anyone can open a lobby and qualify as long as there's a Steward in the room. There should be a room open tomorrow a few hours before the race start (Qualy deadline has been extended) so just keep yourself updated by checking in this thread constantly.

EDIT: I stand corrected (tree'd). Only a Steward can host a qualy room since regulations needs to be controlled.

Dont think ill be able to make it to tomorrow's race. Car issues came up
 
Right now, we're 9 cars / class (Including Masi who's not sure att all if he can race). If not a decent amount of cars are in to make it 2 decent races, we will run this race as same class.

Stay tuned.
Last week, we had some issues with preparation due to the short time stewards had to start a room, look up panlties, ballasts, PPs etc. We need all drivers to say alert in the thread for any changes.
One thing that will NOT be changed is CT, and GF times. Quali deadline is 30 minutes prior CT.

If we are running 2 same class races or D1 / D2 as usual, we just have to wait and see how many cars did quali / signed up on the waitinglist.

I should have a room open during the afternoon so drivers can qualify.
 
When you opening one up Kamy? I'll hold on for a bit if you're opening one soon, if not I'll go set one up now.
 
I can't confirm one way or the other if I can make it this evening. as soon as I know I will confirm. Waiting on a call, I may have to go out at 9-30pm.
 
I'll need to leave for about 20 minutes. After that I'll be online.

Hi Sean. Read it over a couple times more and keep in mind that only stewards or capable hosts may set up qualification rooms so you can run your laps under observation by a steward or CH in a controlled environment.

A steward can check the room settings to see if their right. Is that ok??
I'll open one now so we don't have to wait for confirmation.

Sure hope we get some more racers qualified. Looking lonely in D2. With only 5 cars. Considering the waiting list people show. 3 gt500 2 gt300. :(
 
I'm not able to host this weeks race.
So if Wardez (he will to 100% race in D1 no matter what) can host D1, it would be perfect.

Still not decided if we are going same or mixed class this week. The number of entrants will decide. 4 cars / class is a minimum to run a second division as planned. Less than that in any class, we'll go with a same class race.

At the moment, we got 10 GT500's and 9 GT300's on the grid.
So we need 2 more GT300's and 1 GT500's to either enter the waiting list or set a quali time before 19.00 PM (GMT) if we are going to stick with the mixed class format this week.

And since deadline is only 30 minutes prior connect time, it's really important for ALL to stay tuned in the thread for information regarding the race.

If we will run 2 same class races (Less than 4 car / class in D2), Aderrrm, can you host the GT300 race if so?

Any one who got a fully broken in GT300 car can ofc quote this post, remove the
-tags and add the car under the GT300 headline. Behind it's driver.

Sorry for being a tad bit negative but i think this is wrong:

Im sorry but 4 cars in a race is going to be boring. I for sure would not like to race in a room with 3 other drivers, i think thats just a bit of out order when a same class could be used and 11 racers in one room

I think I'm going to miss quali altogether tonight. I finish work at 6:30pm and won't be home in time to meet the deadline. These little maintenance episodes really suck.

EDIT: BST sucks too... just realised, by looking at the countdown, that I should be able to make the quali deadline quite comfortably \o/

Put me on the waiting list please :cheers:

Got her sent over today! Rebuild both chassis and engine before use. I had beat on her pretty good racing in an open lobby. A few cats were using NSX's turned down to GT300 type power. They was fast burgers like that. However the nimbleness of the MR-S prevailed. Hahaha

Like this car a lot myself.

Guys one last piece of advise...
Practice your pit entry. Don't enter too hot or your car will be reseted and you'll be given a penalty in the form of 5 to 10 seconds stoped after refuel.

So thats why some of my pit stops are long as hell!! GT5 and its mysterious penalties... :ouch: I hope you are right Kamy.
