Why do you always ask for the year? It's guess the car, not guess the car, model and year.
Because the 2004 Jaguar XJ is different to the 2003 Jaguar XJ

Both are still Jaguar XJs, which didn't change by a change of the last digit of the year number, even though I sort of get the idea of guessing which XJ it was, using a year number to determine car simply doesn't work with these cars, as the "2004" was also a "2003" car.

Yeah, I think guessing the model/chassis code is probably better.
