I've been wondering, RemyKock, how popular is Daihatsu in the Netherlands?
80% of Daihatsus in a Google Image search turn up with Dutch plates, including those in Daihatsu's own press photos, so I was thinking they might hold a particularly strong market position in your country. I hardly ever see any Dai's here in Denmark, nor when crossing into Germany.
To be honest, there are about 4-5 Daihatsu's or even more (Didn't check) in our street.
We've got Applauses, Sirions, Trevis, Charades and Valera's...
When you start looking for them they appear everywhere I guess!
Someone else can go
P.S. Cuores are also seen a lot, my uncle has one of those...
I'm always thrilled when I see a Cuore or Trevis, they're super rare here. Especially the Trevis, and I do have a soft spot for that brilliant design. I really do miss Daihatsu on the Danish roads, seeing one here and there would certainly liven up our generic traffic. The majority of the old Applauses and Charades have been scrapped, and Daihatsu no longer sells cars in our market, so it's slowly becoming an extinct brand. Now, Volkswagen is practically the national car here. There are 7 Passats on our narrow street alone. All of them are black Variant models with TDI engines
