No. A Foam prototype was shown at the 2007 Montreal Int. Auto Show.
The first "real" example was shown at a 2010 Motor Show.
This car is made in a place where they usually don't make cars.

Nice car, not really a production car though, not yet anyway ;)

True, not sure what to call it. It seems like they're fairly certain they're going to make it, and have 6 orders already, but I can't tell if it's in production yet. I personally would say that it is a production car, what do you all think?

Don't get me wrong, personally I think it would be fun if prototypes and cars that didn't make production yet were included here anyway, but it needs to be one way or the other. Cars where only one was produced have been questioned before, let alone none at all. That said, that's a pretty cool car I might not have ever learned about otherwise. IMHO either the car must have made production and a minimum number is defined, or we allow prototypes, concepts and cars that are planned for production, or even one-offs (my preference)

I know that could be open to misuse but common sense should prevail, it should be a photo of a complete body at least, and often it will be obvious that it's in a show setting, giving us an additional clue. If the car is a little obscure, the poster needs to be a little more forthcoming with clues.

There have been tons of cars which will probably or hopefully be produced, then aren't, especially supercars, so that seems a little too vague to me.

Yeah, you're right, I should adhere to my own rules anyway. I don't really like grey area cars like this to begin with, I'm sure GT916 had no idea that it was unsure as to whether production had started.

GranTurismo916, want to post another pic? :)

I'll post another. I did research a bit and found it was a production car, but oh well. Let me go make one :)

By the way, HTT Locus Plethore is correct.
