For next time, you ought to log on every now and then and see if someone's posted a guess. If it's been more than 12 hours without anyone posting one, you should post a clue, up to three clues can be posted. If no one answers, then you can say who it is and whoever was closest, go ahead.

As to my band... it's kind of early for a clue. But hey, what the hell. They only have two albums, first one was released in 2003. They're from Sweden and no, they aren't gothic metal.

Sorry for the delay... but some of us can't log on from work :grumpy:

No, it's not The Sounds. Although they've been compared to The Sounds, as well as to The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Missing Persons. The musical style is "electroclash", although they are very electronic. I'd say they're a mix of EBM, Punk, Synth and 80's Rock.

They take their name from a popular children's story, albeit it's modified (the name).
