Nah, there's three people in the Thompson Twins!:)
Linda Thompson was his wife I believe. I think he was in Fairport Convention too, though maybe only early on. Don't know that much but I do recognise him. Rolling Stone rated him in the top 20 of 100 greatest guitarists (though that list is BS! Gilmour 82nd:eek: WTF!).

Clue? They were around between 1974 and 1978. The Producer, John Leckie (Stone Roses, Radiohead) produced their third album and worked extensively with the singer/songwriter/guitarist of the band. One of the members was a Maori from New Zealand.
Any help?

Okay, bigger clue. They had a hit single in '76 called "Ships in the Night" and their first album in '74 was called "Axe Victim".
If no one gets it by 23:00 GMT I'll give the answer.
