Nah. I can't remember her name(from the Cranberries), but Omnis said, "still relatively unknown", which means that the band is up and coming. Cranberries went away, at least in the U.S. mainstream charts, long time ago.
I'm so out of it right now, I didn't even notice it.
And yes, you should slap Omnis. I'd do it myself, but I have policy against getting violent on anyone bigger than my car. No way, I'm not afraid of him.
Why not pick a band that somebody has a chance of knowing so this thread doesn't die for three days again. I think it's much more fun to keep the thread moving, not trying to find the most obscure bands you can think of so everybody loses interest in the thread.
I knew this was going to be a bit toughy. This band is widely known, but I had never seen a picture of them until just recently(then again, I don't have Cable TV). They've been around since mid 90's, as far as I know. Guy in the hat and shades, he's the lead singer.
2nd (set of) clue: They are from California. Their first hit was in 1996. While they are considered "alternative rock", their music often feature a trumpet, and sometimes even ventures into country music style...... music.
