Dude I've got no clue anymore. The cover just doesnt show anything. lol

It is actually half the cover. You see 50% of it, but I must admit, that it is rather simple.
Another problem might be, that it is not so well know...obviously...

genre : racing(not 100% racing, it's rather a mix of two genres)
subgenre : cars
origin : Japan
developer : not well known for producing racing games, but for another genre ( could be considered no 1 in the other genre)
two copies of this game are on Ebay.com right now ;)
the developer has produced 2 racing games since 1998 ( I think ). This one and one for PS2 ( different game, no sequel or so ).

Now, guess. You can do it ;)

Tokyo Highway Battle?? lol

this is tiring

Tokyo Highway Battle = Shutokou Battle ;)

Well, after all the hints I gave you, I come to the conclusion, that you don't know the game
Well... Rethink my hints.... genremix between racing and ? I mean, think about it, it won't be a mix between racing and a beat'em up, huh ? There are not so many possibilities. As soon as you have the other genre, you pose yourself the question : which japanese developer is famous for it ( the second genre ) ? Voila...

Racing and FPS?

You mean a kind of action game...good idea, but wrong ;)

racing and strategy??

Just a guess, almost certainly wrong...

Zone of the Enders?

racing and rpg?

hmmm, there are lots of RPG games/developers. The maker wouldn't be squaresoft (now Square Enix) or Blizzard would it?

Racing lagoon from Squaresoft. Sth like Shutokou Battle / Tokyo highway battle with rpg elements.

ahhhh damnit! got the company just not the title, but then I've never heard of that game. lol

Then it's hard of course ;)

Seeing as I didnt get the title, you can post another. Just make it a bit easier. lol

Game was released worldwide. Hard to judge, if it is easy or not...

Perfect Dark?

The sleeve looks kinda familiar. Almost Star Trekish.

Is it and old "Tron" game?

Nope both wrong. It's a game from the N6-Saturn-PSX Generation, which doesn't necessarily mean, that it is a multiplatform game ;)

I think I recognise it, the character with that hand I think is female, just can't remember the title..... is it Nights into Dreams from the Saturn?

Edit : oH sting, of course it's your turn now :)

Yay, i guessed it right. lol I had Christmas Nights into Dreams on the Saturn once, which is probably why i recognised it.

OK here is my cover, no hints to start:

lol damn, i was hoping it was obscure enough of a game to be tough. I have it, and quite like the truck racing concept.

Your turn olm.

Ok, here's one for you.

I scaned it myself, so sorry if its quality is a little low.

Looks like Mega Drive / SNES age to me... I have no clue so far... would be cool if you
could give us a console generation hint ( snes/mega drive) or (psx,saturn,n64) or handheld?

Its a current generation PC game. [it is ok to use PC games, isn't it?]

Well, the thread starter wrote :

Someone posts part of a game's cover, and says what platform(s) [Xbox, PS2, PC, PSP, NDS etc] the game is on. If the game is not on any of PS2/Xbox/PC/PSP/NDS, please say what other console(s) features it.

Well, hard to say, I guess PC is ok aswell, but since I don't play a lot of PC apart from Age of Empires and Battlefield 2, I'll have to wait for the next game cover...

Trackmania sunrise perhaps?
