As far as I know was only PC based:

Definitely not Rollcage, that was PS1 only.

Looks like a F1 game.

Doesn't look like any type of Realistic F1 Racing Game...

Is it a car combat-style game?

It looks kinda like Nascar Rumble but F1 style. Although Nascar rumble was on PS1.

It's not Rollcage
It's not an F1 game (although a car within borrowed some styling cues from F1 cars)
There is combat involved.
It's not NASCAR Rumble.

HINT: Tracks were based in different planets/environments.

I never played a lot of games on PC, so I don't have a clue tbh....

I'd say San Fransisco Rush 2049 but:

1. No game covers match that
2. It was for DreamCast also, and in Arcade form.

Toronado
One of them Hotwheels games?

That sounds right, those games have covers like that, although I'm not able to find the right one tbh, so it might aswell be wrong ;)

more hints please :)

Not San Fan Rush
Not a Hot Wheels game

2nd Hint: Developer of the game was austrilian based and owned by Atari

I don't think we are getting anywhere with this mang.

After 3 hints, your going to have to tell us and pick somebody else to go.

Ok, it seems to be no ratbag game, Atari Australia doesn't offer the game aswell.
So it might be old... I did whyt I can do to find the game, but no chance for me.
More hints. Release year, is this cover used worldwide etc

Hint: Release date was 1998

Bonus Hint: On of the teams in this racing game was sponsored by the imaginary company SOY King

These are the last hints, after this I will deem you all stumped, and post the answer.

Powerslide ?

No not powerslide.

Hint: Name of name begins with a D

Hmm Dirt track racing ;) ?

The Stig's Top Tip: Take some of the hints into google. lol

sting
The Stig's Top Tip: Take some of the hints into google. lol

What do you think I do all the time ? ;) I would say that I know how to work with google, but there is no way to find the game for me.

Ratbag is the only developer I can find. Atari, australian, soy king , racing, pc, 1998, Atari - all in various combinations on google result in nothing.
And the game hasn't been reviewed on gamespot btw, that's for sure ;)

I give up...finally...:guilty:

OK, this should finally be the best hint, the name of the australian based developer is MELBOURNE HOUSE.

Dethkarz ... I'm so great ;)

Dethkarz_PC_DV.jpg

lol, even though you googled it probably.
yeah Dethkarz, its a fun game, I still have it.

Might be tough one... but not as tough as sting's extrme-underground game ;)

platform : psx

Zone of the Enders

Toronado
Omega Boost?

And we have a winner. Well personally I didn't know if the game is well known. The mech/shooter genre isn't that popular these days and omega boost is not its most famous example, is it? well whatever, your turn :)

I'll go if he isn't then.

Platform: PSX
