I was going to go with Miata but you said it's not japanese. I'm pretty lost but I'd guess italian or english sportscar by the vents and buttons

Is the image mirrored? (Noticed the turn signals were on the right-hand side, unless that is normal.)
That looks like the wipers. I think most cars had it separated from signals during the 80's/90's (which is why I'm guessing older cars)

Mosly I am looking at the left/right arrows and the highbeam/drl and flash icons near the wheel.

Is the car German?

You're right in that all cars normally have the turn signal/lights lever on the left side, but there actually are some cars that have it the other way around, I've driven a few myself actually. But the germans would never do something like that.

edit. Some old Citroens and all japanese cars imported from japan, just to mention some...

@motortrend , You are getting closer.:)

No, we've already determined its not an Alfa. And I'll let you in on a little secret: Its not a Ferrari or Lambo either, but dont tell anyone; )

Damn! Just when I found it. It's a caterham 21 no?
caterham-21-798.jpg

EDIT: Forget it it's what showed up when I googled the 21

Compared to the motor's picture, the guessing picture seems mirrored, both the console lights and the functions behind the wheel, unless that's just how Caterham rolls.
