Judging from what looks like a floating centre console behind it, is it a Volvo of some sort?

That's a Ford sedan, is it not? If not, then no, it's not an FPV.

It's also not a Volvo.

It's so very Corvette, yet I can't say whether it's a current gen ZR1 or the new Stingray. I'm really doubting it's a new stingray because of the junkbox Chevy radio bit. Either way, if it is a current gen Z06 or ZR1, feel free to post again or someone else do it.

Still, definitely Corvette.

If I could upload my ipod pics i have a few gear shifters from cars that were in my auto tech class today.

I got one ...............

That one has me stumped. The **** knob is almost like a JX100 chaser, but it looks like Luxury toyota then.

No

The car was only available with a automatic transmission.
It was related to a popular sports car from the 90s
It was a Japanese market-only car

Technically Lexus is Japanese. Their posh Toyota's and they were created as a premium luxury brand for the American market

And that makes them American. They only recently went global. Acura and LExus were American only companies. Scion too.

No
It's not a Toyota

It was made by a very well know car brand but it was sold under a different brand which was a luxury division of the company.

There was 4 generations sold under the name plate, this one was the 4th gen and it was made in the '90s.

The 1st gen. of the car was first to launch different type of engine in the brand. The same type of engine was used in all 4 gen. and other cars from the brand, the company has been very successfully with the type of engine.
