Well I got some weird guilty pleasures when it comes to cars. Here are a few.
1959 Cadillac Superior Hearse.
Something so beautiful yet hauntingly creepy about hearse's I love so much. Especially a 1959 Cadillac.
Mercedes W124 500E.
Always loved W124's and the 500E's are just awesome.
2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protegé
My parent's first car was a plane jane 1999 Mazda Protegé but man did I love it. The Mazdaspeed version gave it the grunt it sorely needed (Still needed more IMO) and made it one of the best handling FWD cars ever.
1994-1996 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1
Always wanted one of these over my Ford Police Interceptor. Something about an Impala SS in Police drab was something I've always wanted. The Corvette sourced LT-1 was an added plus as well. It was also called the best police car ever by many police agencies. Infact some police departments loved them so much that they still have fleets of these as their main police vehicles. One day, I'll have one of these cars in
the driveway sitting beside my P71 Police Interceptor. I'll take one in any colour as long as it's black.
Any gen Miata
Something about a very light RWD roadster is something I've wanted to experience. The tossable feeling and very neutral handling you get with these cars are what truly make these things oversized go-karts! My love for the spec miata series probably has something to do with it as well.
Any classic European roadster
The old man in me and the miata nut in me has also desired to own a classic European roadster. Sure they're horribly unreliable cars, but that's the thing with these cars, you spend half the time driving them and half the time working on them. That's what makes them special. You gotta give them a lot of care and attention.
Triumph TR-6

Triumph Spitfire.

Porsche 914

Austin Healey 3000 MK2
Triumph GT6
Same reason as above except in coupé form!
Porsche 944
I almost bought one of these before I found my Interceptor. Sure they weren't the fastest Porsche (could be fixed with the Turbo model) but they had some sort of aura around them to me. I loved the styling and loved the way they drove. Sure they were the poor man's Porsche but I could care less!
Mitsubishi Starion
Another awesome 80's coupé that I really like. It's just a damn shame they are so hard to find these days.
2nd Gen Ford Probe
Something about these car's always stuck out to me. I always loved the way they looked. It's just a damn shame that it's really hard to find a clean Probe around. Seems like almost all of them have fallen into the hands of ricers. Probably why I've noticed a lot of hate on these car's for some reason, but I'd like to own one with a KLZE swap. Would make a nice decently quick front driver.
SVT Mustang Cobra "Terminator"
I will own one of these one day. The sound of a screaming supercharger makes me feel like a giddy schoolgirl inside. The modestly rated 390hp was nothing to laugh at as you blew by C5 corvettes with ease.
Ford P71 Police Interceptor
Probably one of my very first guilty pleasures. Something about it's menacing looks and toughness was something I liked. Sure the 4.6l V8 they stuck in it wasn't the fastest, but it got the job done, plus they sounded pretty good! Could take one hell of a beating as well. It could run all day with no problems thanks to it's heavy duty oil and transmission coolers and it could jump curbs with ease with it's severe duty suspension! Wasn't the fastest off the line but when they get going they get going. Watching the movie Blues Brothers was what got me wanting an ex cop car in the first place and the P71 Police Interceptor was first thing that came to my mind. So far it's been a blast owning my very first guilty pleasure.
