Well, I'm gonna go the easy and cheaper way and just get it on PS2. I saw the white guitar and thought "Why would anyone want a white guitar?" It just looked urgly.
 
We just picked them up today. Circuit City is giving 1600 ($19.99) Microsoft points away for free with this game. Saved us $40.00 total. :)

If you guys start growing mullets I'm gonna scream. My nephew seems to like Guitar Hero so I'm sure we'll see it at the house soon enough. I like the song list!

I have gone back on my word and picked up the 360 version of this game... I'm still getting used to medium! :crazy:

Its loads of fun, the first thing I bought was Trogdor! :D

Good news for those of us who already have GH2: EA/Harmonix Announces 'Rock Band' which includes not only the Harmonix-created Guitar Hero game, but will also include an all-new mode with drums and vocals as well.

Taking Guitar Hero to the next level? You bet your ass they are!

I hear you on that one. I had to take a break because I can't stare at the TV for that long. The screen started to get all wavy so I thought I should quit.
 
They should put a warning on the box. DO NOT PLAY IF YOU ARE SUSPECT TO EPILEPTIC SEIZURES, CARPAL TUNNEL, OR ARE A FAT POS WHO GETS ALL STINKY UNDER SLIGHT PRESSURE.

Also, I seems that I suck at parts 7 and 8 in medium... whats wrong with me? I can play some songs so well, but others i could be playing with my feet.
 
I'm still on easy because I'm not that good and I do want to work through the achievements. I'm just impressed I got the 100% on one song achievement.
 
The thing with easy is that it was too easy! You get thrown into medium, and I needed to practice using my pinky for the blue button, I'm scared of going into hard! :scared:

At first yeah, but you will get used to it.

Yah. I started on medium because easy was just too easy and it wasn't fun. You better get used to using your pinky because once you move to hard, you'll have to use your pinky for blue and orange. I've been playing since December and I still havn't perfected Hard. I've never gotten 100% on any song on Hard yet, and theres only a few songs I can finish on Expert.
 
Well I beat it on easy yesterday and now I am half way through on medium. Definetly a lot more challenging and fun on medium.
My fingers and wrist are also a little sore today from playing. But we played for about 7-8 hours yesterday too. And your right after you play for a while and you look away from the screen, everything starts to move upward or move around. Kinda nauseating. The co-op was a lot of fun too.
Some of you mentioned something about buying songs? Are there songs on the marketplace or are you talking about buying songs from the in game store? I still havent bought anything yet but the next time I play I will get something from the store. I must have at least a few grand in there since I didnt spend any of it yet.
My new favorite song is Lamb of God - Laid to Rest. Its just so heavy and I love it!!! 👍 👍
On a side note I still seem to have a problem activating the star power when necessary. Especially on co-op. Am I supposed to jerk the guitar up or just pull it up at a slow pace?
The hardest part for me right now is the red and blue notes at the same time. I just cant seem to nail those.
 
Whoo got mine today, started on medium. I'm starting to get used to playing it, but I just can't bring myself to strum down then up yet for the quick parts (I usually just strum downwards all the time). I guess I'll have to practice it a bit.

It would be impossible to hit the select button while playing.
 
CAMAROBOY, to activate star power you just need to pull the guitar up to a 90° position. The speed you do it doesn't really matter. If you find this too distracting you can also use the select button to activate star power.

Also yes, there are several songs available at the in-game store, and as far as I know there's also online songs available on the Live store.

Laid To Rest is one of my favorite songs too. I heard Lamb of God play that song live last Friday and it was awesome! :D

And yes, we are talking about buying songs in-game with the cash you get after each gig.
 
I will have to check tonight to see if there are any songs I want to buy. I need to do something with all this money I won. :) I also like how you can replay songs to get money.

Sorry to hear that but I did warn everyone 2 weeks ago about this game selling out already in certain areas and I even included it in the title.
 
I got the last non-preorder copy at my Gamestop!

I also have trouble with the Red-Blue Chord.

I'm also really good at Jessica, got a 5-star on medium for it. :D
 
they should make a drummer hero and a singer hero lol, and have it co-op over live so we can start a band 👍
