Hair pin on red bull ring. I find hard

I can’t do that corner. I always go wide.

Is that normal to go wide on that corner.

Which corner do you mean? Turn 3 (uphill) or Turn 4 (downhill)?

This corner has an off camber apex so typically making a wider entry. Do you get understeer or oversteer

If you're trying to tackle a hairpin at Red Bull Ring it's no wonder you're finding it hard. The track doesn't have any.

Hairpin corners are named after hairpins (pins for hair) because they look like hairpins:

T3 at Red Bull Ring is just a 90-degree right. T4 is a 90-degree right as well, but it leads directly into the right-handed T5.


For T3 you need to brake just before the white line to the outside and get it down almost to walking pace, then turn in across the yellow sausage kerb to get as close to a straight line to the outside of the track as possible:
