The second one It was just not what I was use to I got Halo the first day it came out. I play it every single day. Then i played Halo 2 it was just alot different I though.

it's a better product though. Unless you're a pistol whore. If you are, you get no mercy.

It is different, but once you get to know the subtleties like you did with halo 1, it transcends it.
 
It will take some time to ajust (spelling) my favorite gun is a sniper or a machine gun. Hey do you ever watch Red Vs Blue.
 
Yeah I hate how umm I don't know the number but they wont put it up as a divx thing. That is the only way I can Watch them.
 
I finally had some free time to beat Halo 2 since we are on Thanksgiving vacation. Great game with huge levels. I didnt run into a single problem in the game and seemed to go right thru it. I had somewhere around 8 hours into it.
 
There was one thing I noticed after I beat Halo 2. I noticed that there are levels online that I never saw in the game. Is that normal or did I miss some levels somehow?

they're not directly based on the single player levels. Some are, but some are contextual, meaning they fit within the halo story, but aren't played through.
 
Ok t/y I just wanted to make sure I did everything in the single player mode. That makes me appreciate the game even more if there are levels online that people wont see unless they get x-box live. Some of the levels online are soooo fun and huge! :) *laughing at the guys that own an x-box and not x-box live* :lol:

I didnt go online at all this weekend but the next time I do I will accept your friend invite. 👍 Should be within a few days.
 
My girlfriend played Halo 2 for the first time with me this weekend for about 7 hours and really enjoyed it. Poor girl got owned so much but she still had fun. Her x-box tag is:
MUSTANGGIRL67 for all x-box games. She bought her own account that way she could have her own name, friends list, and stats.

tell her to play on heroic or legendary. The pain doesn't stop.

Actually, I've noticed something about Halo 2's difficulty levels: they completely change the game. I was actually disapointed when I blew through it on normal, because it was fairly easy and uneventful.

Then I switched it up to heroic, and the A.I. truly shines. So many more patterns emerge and the whole "sandbox" (the beauty of the first game was the many ways you could duke it out with the superb A.I.) concept of halo is apparent. Legendary is a kick in the teeth, but it's really fun to go through if you have the patience. Especially in Co-op.

I truly believe this game has the best A.I. I've ever seen. And I've played half life 2.
 
Nope we were playing the ranked missions. She ended up at level 5 quite fast. We tried big team battle and then we spent quite a bit of time in Team Slayer. :)
We did something that had people laughing their butts off. I had her stand on the wing of the ghost while I narrarated the scenery and we just flew around really slow and kept killing people. Everyone was laughing soo hard. :lol:
"Over here we have the beautiful red rock" "Now see that enemy coming, he looks really angry and oh yup now he is shooting at us" :lol:
 
dammit !! I've just skimread through the thread and live is way better than the game in single player or co-op isnt it !!

I am still nowhere near getting the cellar finished so I can put the PC and the x-box down there and get my live connection wired up, but I'll be online soon, a few months yet, then you'll all have scores in the quadzillions !!!!

Like it was said several times in this thread. Halo 2 is all about online! The single player part of it and co-op is just....there. I would not have bought Halo 2 if I didn't have internet. Between flying Ghosts, Banshees, driving wraiths, warthogs, it is just soo much fun online. 👍 And you can take any of those vehicles from anyone when your online. I have even seen an enemy or 2 hitch a ride with the other team in the Warthog. LMAO! :lol:

Theres nothing like jumping on an enemy hog and shooting at their team while they frantically try to figure out who the heck is trying to "betray" them 👍
 
What does this O medal stand for? I got it last night and looked online to see what it was for and I couldnt find it anywhere.

You ugys play the rainbow 6 or zombie custom games? Rainbow six rocks! Battle rifles, no shields, 1 life :) or zombie, red people use pistols only, 1 green guy is the zombie and can only use swords, if the zombie kills a person they become a zombie, if all the reds are turn to zombies the zombie wins, if the reds get enough kills to end the game then the reds win :) Pretty fun.

However we cant play soccer canymore since the warthogs are destructable :(

I have played zombie and it is fun when everyone listens to the rules. A lot of guys get killed and just dont change themselves into zombies. Are they ever going to release any content for this game?
