Sorry I didnt have time to play with you last night TVR. You joined our room just as we were logging off for the night.
We did get a chance to play on a couple of the new maps in the matchmaking playlist. The bad part is we got absolutely destroyed and did not have a good night at all last night. I was even placed against a team of Brigadeers and generals. Another game my entire team started betraying me then left. Not a good night. Hopefully tonight will be a better night. :scared:

Boy punches mother over Halo 3

Man, what is wrong with some of these kids? It reminds me of a scene I witnessed at a shop a while back. A boy and his grandmother came in to buy a game as his present (for Christmas, I think). The boy picked one but his grandmother balked at it for being to violent. The kid then went into tantrum-mode and began hurling verbal abuse at his grandmother about it and how he was going to get someone else to buy it anyway. I think they left without any purchases.

What an inspired way to get someone to buy you something...

I played a Team Slayer game that was all snipers and handguns. I really didn't like that a bit.

Team BR's is sort of neat, makes for a bit more competition.

Haven't gotten the new map pack, I'll wait a week or so.
 
Question, can you only get one perfection? Because I just got 23 kills and no deaths and I didn't get a perfection.

I have no idea. I'd be pissed if I were you though.

Yesterday was my best Team Doubles day evar. My buddy and I won 15 straight games and tied the 16th with 24-24. I think that equals out to 15-0-1. Call me crazy, but I think that's impressive.

Just noticed this today. I've got a kill with an orange cone. I remember it happened at the pit. It said I splattered someone. Pit has no vehicles. That means the orange cone had to seriously ruin the player who was killed with its day.

Haha.

 
Was surfing the net and found this.. you probably have already seen it but some guy turned his Legendary edition helmet into a wearable one, its a bit fanboyish but it really does look cool and would look great at a party or for HALOween! (oh boy :dunce:)

Only one problem which he discovered right at the end... You cant see through the damn thing! :lol:

So that helmet coupled with this full suit someone else made and how cool is that gonna look for fancy dress at the union! Going to need a straw hole though!

For those that didnt already know, Big Team Battle is now in the ranked playlist.
Ahh what a great flashback of years of playing Halo 2 BTB ranked. This was a very nice change to the matchmaking. I love this BTB ranked and played at least 30 games over the weekend. :D
Bungie is also working on 3 more new maps for the playlist.
 
To my surprise, BTB is in ranked and social. I was shocked when I noticed that yesterday. I thought it was only in ranked. Ranked and social BTB. So now everyone should be happy. :sly:
 
So I'm home again, and starting to play Halo 3 again. Anyone else playing?
 
Yes I still play it whenever I get a chance. So far I have completed over 168 online co-op campaign missions. :sly: The only thing I avoid is the MLG playlist. I am not anywhere near good enough for that.
 
I know what you mean. I played with some guys from the Penny-Arcade forums last night and I was just way, way out of my league. Nice guys, but they were just really good.
 
Lone Wolves is just impossible now'er days. The MLG playlist is impossible. Doubles is impossible but less so. The rest are pointless. Then will someone explain why I'm still addicted to it?

Not to Mention The New Halo 3 Expansion

Looks like you're fighting some kind of invasion in a civilian area. To echo several of the posters on the page, I'm under a similar assumption that it is an ODST tactical shooter, something that I've wanted to see happen for some time.
 
I just posted about the expansion on the Forza site but didnt quite get here in time. Thats incredible news for a game I already love. It also explains the new skull achievements.
 
I consider myself an average or maybe lower than average player but dang I had a really good game Saturday.

Anyone interested in some matches this weekend? Been playing Grifball most of the day as it's double EXP, not played it before and I'm loving it! :D
