The new forge looks excellent especially with the dynamic lighting. The trait zones and magnets are really good.

Hopefully they bring back the Community playlist to show the custom maps people created.
Still hoping they will allow you to manipulate the scenery like the Far Cry series but I dont think thats going to happen.

As for the 8gb hd space. I am sooo glad I recently purchased the 320 gb hd for only $99.99.

Wow that console actually looks really dang good. I just recently bought a 320gb hd and new 360 so I wont be getting this console. But I like it a lot. Way better than that ugly green Halo 3 360. :yuck:
The reach 360 looked good too. I liked the silver a lot. Will have to watch that video at lunch time.

Starting to look better and better with each video released.

The flag assassination is awesome. Passing the oddball could lead to some sort of "basketball" gametype. I am sure someone will figure out how to do it. We already have golf and hockey. Time for basketball. You could also setup a baseball game too somehow. Throw the oddball and hit it with the hammer. Lots of possiblities.

This is looking better and better every day. Gamestop had some real campaign gameplay up on their tv yesterday and dang the graphics look incredible.
 
This is a very good video explaining the Halo 4 Specializations. These are mods you unlock tha will make your character more powerful in certain areas. We still dont know the specific details but this helps explain them quite a bit.
There are 9 levels for each Specialization and only the 10th level finally unlocks an effect that boosts your character in whatever specialization you level up.

Seems fitting to get the unicorn emblem along with this armor. lol.

I have to say, things are looking promising for Halo 4. Can't wait to get my Limited Edition!
 
Yeah that Unicorn is quite funny.

I still havent decided if I want the LE of Halo 4 yet. It is a nice bonus that it includes all 3 map packs with it. Kinda like a season pass. That alone would almost justify the purchase. But I dont really need all the other stuff. Still not sure yet.
 
All 3 maps . . . and all specials right off the bat, along with the armor that they were shown on.

Plus the avatar goodies . . . additional armor from the LE edition, additional skins

and all that Forward on to Dawn stuff too.
 
Yes very tempting. Its basically a season pass for Halo 4. I am also starting to get very interrested in the Forward Unto Dawn series. Since I am sure I will get all the maps, the LE might be worth it for me.

Here is a screenshot of the pre-order bonuses. I will be pre-ordering from Gamestop and for once, it actually looks really good. I wasnt all that excited for Reach because it was a prequal but Halo 4 is the next true Halo game and I am actually very excited for it. Usually the Gamestop pre-order bonuses are not so good. I do like the BB armor too. I wonder if we will be able to change the colors for the pre-order bonus armor?

But you only get the armor skin ... not the armor.

The skin is only an armor overlay that goes over what ever armor combo you are using.
And yes, you can change the skin colors. I believe there is a primary and secondary color that can be changed like the standard armor.
 
Ok thats perfectly fine with me. I wasnt sure if it was the skin or armor combo. Either way the unique Gamestop "skin" looks good.

Getting more and more excited about this game every day.
 
I watched that VIdoc on the dashboard yesterday. Very good video and the graphics are looking insane. The attention to detail is very impressive in Halo 4. The braille on Chiefs armor was a nice subtle touch. These graphics are a huge leap forward for Halo. I just hope they didnt remove too many features to make it look that good. Usually if they add something or improve something, they have to remove other features.
 
I was about to post a similar video. Looks like we get an autosentry (autoturret) in Halo 4. That should be a lot of fun to use. It reminds me of the autoturret that comes with the Geth Engineer in the Mass Effect 3 co-op mode. Getting more and more excited for this game.



Also some of the helmets and armor. Which I think look awesome!!! Way way better than Reach. I couldnt find any I liked in Reach but dang some seriously sick armor and helmets in this game.

Some of those look really good. I quite like the Soldier, Orbital, Wetwork and Pioneer helmets.

Others, however, look rather silly. The Oceanic and Fotus designs look ridiculous, Air Assault looks bland, and Venator looks totally impractical.
