Yeah - in Canada's ham radio zones are divided differently than the US's. Canada's call signs always begin with the letter V, another letter (depending on where you are) and a number (also depending on where you are), followed by the user's call sign (i.e. VY2SJS or VE3BN). US call signs start with a letter (K or W), followed by a number (zero through nine, depending on your location) and the call sign (K7DRN, W0JRL). The license plates are based on your exact call sign, I'd assume. I wonder what they'd do if an operator has more than one car.
