WOW! What a holiday. It was great but what makes me mad is the fact I can't share my experience with you guys. :reallymad: My sister decided to take the pictures and she's really good with a camera... that is, when she takes the lens cap off. She took 8 pictures of the lens cap! :reallymad: I was ready to make her eat the thing. It was sooooo cool, It didn't really flyt hrough the air like I thought it would, the rear end lifted the van and it kinda spun a little too and it landed on the passenger side of the roof and rolled on to the side and burned. Thank god it was late, there was black smoke all over, I had to stand at least 30 feet away, you could feel the heat on you, it was crazy!. Oh man, you guys would have loved to see it. I wish I could have gotten pictures, I was so mad. It was really awesome. I almost caught a peice of the floorboard but thank god the blast knocked me down :D I felt lucky that night. That was definatly better than the civic we did last year. Seeing the glass blow out of the frames or whatever you call them, and the doors flew open and the hood and then the rear lifted up and it spun, landed and rolled over. Then it sat and burned. We camped out and it was still burning until the afternoon the next day when we put it out so we could leave. It was great.

Explosives? We didn't use explosives, unless you consider 20 gallons of gasoline explosives. 😈 :D. The van? We took it to a junk yard, a guy my dad graduated with owns it so he crushed it up no questions asked.  We've done this last year and this year. 😈

Firecracker stands can not keep em on the shelves! I got 12 of em. I am going to save a couple! :) :cool:

Anybody here about what happened at LAX here in cali?

Well accordin' to the news, a guy went into the airport with a gun and killed 2 people, and then a small plane tried to crash into a huge group of people... Dont think he got anybody, but i dunno...

Damn terrorists. Oh well, i wont let it get me down.. Neighbors across the street have mass illegal fireworks.. And im talkin only the kind you see at the grand stands in a fireworks show in a stadium 😈😈

On a sadder note, 3 people (including the gunman) have been killed at LAX.
Also, a Cesna (sp?) crashed into several families in San Dimas, killing at least one person (as of this writing). However, neither are considered terrorist attacks (in fact, the airplane crash was caused by some mechanical malfunction that occured right after take-off, the worst time for such an incident on small aircraft). :(
 
I'm pissed. I live in Utah right, where everything except for Piccolo Pete's and ground flowers are illegal.

So every year my family drives up to wyoming and we buy a multitude of morters and bottle rockets, and last year we got these "Bomb" things that had 300 firecrackers wired to go off at the same time. That thing was awesome.

Anyway the police always turned their cheek and would let us set our illegals off. Well this year, there's an ordinance out that says if you are caught setting off illegal fireworks then you have to go to jail for 6 months. SO this year I don't get to set off any fireworks!!! I'm pissed.

Anyway happy 4th.
 
You should be happy infallible, in Colorado, all fireworks are illegal. In Illinois, we've got a fair lot of legal ones - not in Chicago limits - but it's good enough to go out of town to get some.

My brother in Denver is driving up to the Wyoming border tomorrow to get some. :D
 
I figured I would pull the oldest thread made on this subject back to life!

So what are the weekend plans guys? Anyone going anywhere cool?

I am just going back home to Orlando (whole hour away) Probably do some riding on the bike with friends, and go see a local fireworks show on Monday.
