I may have mucked my comment up slightly I mean the Lamborghini Murcielago from the grand tour forgot which one it was, But the Veyron still handles like a pig :) I think I shall stick with My modified Gallardo that will destroy any Veyron coz its handling is sublime

Did you try to drive McLaren MP4-12C without aids in TGTT???

Anyone try the Mazda Furai Concept? Tune it up (After a few runs I'm @ 572hp), even with slicks on, driving with traction control off is insane! With it set at 1 I can get a 0:57:210 on a High-Speed Ring lap. Turn it off, and you'll pat yourself for not spinning out and getting under a minute!

I like to tune every car I win (for ***** and giggles and because I can), and fully tuned a Diahatsu OFC-1 Concept. From hp in the 40s to 150, I thought this car was going to roll the Turbo-Series in Expert. EVEN-IF you can keep high RPMs just to KEEP UP with the pack, good-luck trying to get it around the corner. I think any other FF car with ONE WHEEL can drive better than this.

Mazda Furai hands down. Sure it handles like a dream when fully tuned on race slicks with assists on, but try managing a 58 second time or faster on High Speed Ring. I hit 57.2 all day with traction turned to 1, however I give myself a pat on the back for not spinning out or hitting walls with assists off lol.

Also the Diahatsu OFC-1 Concept. Fully tune it out and it will gain almost 200% of its' original horsepower. I figured maybe it could fare in the Expert Turbo series.. lol. Even if you can keep up the RPMS with your high final gear, good luck getting it to turn. Any other FF car even with ONE WHEEL can handle better than this.

Mclaren F1 fully modded on sport soft tyres at the ring ... in cockpit view. You will get scared from a video game.

I have no idea what you're talking about with the SV. Mine sticks to the road like glue, I can floor it as much as I like and there will be only minor understeer (with full throttle out of a turn, mind you).

I love it to death, it was like my 3rd car purchased (up to 106 in my garage) and it is still my favourite. And no, no assists, I've only got ABS on 1.

As for "the hardest car to drive", it depends what you mean by "hardest"... Overall? Because you just want to see if you can drive it? Or hardest car that actually has a use? If it's the use one, I'd say the Ferrari 512BB, because it is still good and can be used to win the Italian/Ferrari events, except it requires a lot of effort to keep under control.

Overall... Not sure, the NASCARs on non-oval tracks are a bit of a pain, they turn pretty wide and still have massive oversteer. That Top Gear Lotus was horrible too. But, a lot of the muscle cars are HORRIBLE just because they feel like a barge being driven by a drunken Irishman.

Ruf Yellowbird. I have yet to drive it. It sits in my garage mocking me, making me recall the Hell that is trying to drive it around the Nordschleife in GT4. It's so hard to want to drive it. But I must. And I will. But not yet... not yet.

:nervous:

Trying to get the Shelby Cobra around Laguna Seca without any assists was a handful. It felt a bit like holding a bomb. Just a touch too much of anything, and it's over.

I remember thinking the Cobra 427 drove like a dream back on GT2, I hope it hasn't been nerfed :(

What about under heavy braking?

Bugatti Veyron handles like a pig? Yes, if you do not tune it. I had to finetune it and now it drives like a dream, really happy with it now.
Is it possible on every car to finetune it for perfect handling? I've managed it with a few cars. Working on shelby cobra atm, but i haven't found the right settings yet.

I would love to know your cobra setting when you are done. Mine runs extremely well but would like to see what a nicely set up one could do.

What about under heavy braking?

Nope, stable as the floor of a house built of stone. The only time it loses it is if I hit a bump, whilst braking, whilst turning... But any car would lose it there :)

Bugatti Veyron - Handles like a pig :(, Lamborghini Murcielago SV - Handles like a greasy weasel

for me veyron is amazing you should do weight reduction on it first and lower it stiffen the springs too

I love the SV. It is much more polite than the LP 640. It only has throttle oversteer. The LP640 has snap brake oversteer and lift off oversteer and understeer. It has much better traction. Although for the money it is not all that fast.
The Lambo's are great, I wouldn't necessarily say they are hard to drive as they are very responsive, albeit you have to the tail in check and feather the throttle round corners sometimes. Certainly fun to drive though, particularly the Mucielargo

The Chrome Line Cobra 427 S/C is one beast of a car that is very very difficult to drive with no aids. It's way overpowered with mods.

But the worste so far has to be Top Gear intermediate challenge Lotus with hard comfort tyres

So far I think the Lambo Murciealago (not sv) is the most difficult. I haven't driven many cars so far though

The hardest car I've driven so far has to be the Lotus Europa Special ‘71. It is only around 150 HP, but it under steers under every condition imaginable. Even it you are turning a dull corner at 40 mph without any throttle. It is the only car I have sold after completing the event I needed it for.

It's great when kept under control. A little too much throttle, braking or steering input and it'll bite back pretty hard, however. It's a little bit like the kart but with a massive engine.

Im towing with the lotus 111R on the top gear track. Its as if it has glass tyres. Odd since in prologue it was sublime??? I managed to spin this thing going 20mph and been carefull with the loud pedal. If this was really the case it would hold the record for most pedestrians killed. Everytime someone turned at traffic lights they would spin onto the pavement and kill an old couple and a lady with a pram?

That is freakin hilarious, I almost hurt myself laughing!!.....

I would say the Tuscan TVR. I don't think the steering wheel works. It just goes in a straight line. That license test sucked!

Bone stock Chromeline Murcie LP-640.... :O The back end always wants to say hi to the front end.

Wish I would have saved the replay of it but I got gold on it on about my 10th try. The car is difficult to handle to say the least you really have to understand the dynamics of a MR car to get it around the track. I can give a bit of advice but it will be geared towards individuals utilizing wheels.

Left foot brake under power into corners (especially the 1st corner and even the follow through) and try to avoid braking at all cost when you are not headed in a straight line. Same goes for the accelerator, do not put it to the floor unless your car is straight. Modulate the throttle smoothly and never abruptly lift off the accelerator on this car or you'll find the rear end coming out.

Turn the sound up and listen for the tires and engine RPM's to climb in the corners, that's the best advice I can give you to help you feel the car and it's rear end grip.

The follow through can be taken almost flat out but if you are gentle with the brakes and brake under power you can take a controlled slide through there and it's a very fast line. The Bentley corner can be taken flat out and should be so use ALL of the track for the controlled slide and try to keep the rear end from coming around too much on you so you don't fish tail into bacharach.

Over all just be gentle with all inputs and remember to make all the weight transfers on the car as smooth as possible so it doesn't upset the cars grip too much.

Yup, as said, try to keep the car going straight when u brake - and u must either be on the brakes( in a straight line) or throttle - if you are slow to switch over to the throttle after braking, while the steering is at an angle - the rear end will come around - takes practice, good luck:tup:

I heard that can be resolved by simply increasing the height of the car, the SV when fully modded is seriously low to the ground which is why the ring can be a difficult circuit for it, i havent tried altering the height, its just something ive heard.

Peugeot 908, I bought it yesterday and tried it out in GT Allstars. You have to be extremeley careful & precise with throttle control. I'm currently using analog sticks on a Sixaxis with aids turned off apart from ABS set to 1. I'm getting a G25 at Christmas, so it shall be interesting to find out how tractable the car is at low cornering speed.

ruf yellowbird, that thing demands lots of respect and a few prayers

from all the cars in my garage i also think its the ruf yellowbird
you need to be very gentle!

I actually found the Elise challenge easy. I got gold on my second try just because I bumped first place and got dq

So far the Zonda has been the squirreliest for me!
