How many credits did you buy?

Never bought credits, never will do. The physics and cars are so right in GT that grinding is never really a grind - there's a lot of fun exploring the physics of the game, nailing corners, finding the best line, and beating your own lap times. A lot of the joy to be found in GT is in simply driving, and you can make your own game of it with a little thought.

I agree. But I'll try to buy them some day. I'll try to reach the credit limit (50 million).

In GT6 there's a lot of things to do without having the money: We can do the races, drift, rally.... And much more.

Why would i need to buy credits when I can grind seasonals if I desperately need credits?

Have I purchased virtual money with real money??

Nope. If I want to do that I would quite happily do this,

I bought 7Mil just because I wanted more money. I already had about 15Mil at the time so didn't really need it

This is the age old question of time vs cost.
And as you get older you usually have more money and less time. Yes, you can spend hours grinding to make the credits or you can spend less hours working and spend the money on the same credits. Its personal choice and preference. Usually based on how quickly you can grind vs how quickly you can earn.
The main advantage of the micro transactions is in the speed. If you want credits right away, to get a car for an online race that's starting soon or just to make your grand daughter smile you can buy some. The same way you can buy other over priced things in life for convenience.
No one is saying that micro transactions are great or that its better than having a B Spec mode or cheaper cars.

The opening post asked if anyone has bought credits.
The answer is yes, a small percentage of people.

No one should be judging them or arguing with them for their choices though.

Fanapryde said it all on page 3. The game is what you make it. Bought game on day one, never glitched, no grinding , and I have 80+ cars and 40 Mil. credits. I did it the old fashion way, by racing. I don't race everyday, in fact not much at all during the summer, you have to take advantage of Michigan weather while you can. After reading some of the posts here I can understand some of the microtransaction purchases, but for the average driver I don't think they are needed.
