Has anyone else noticed that the Jay Leno Oldsmobile is making 1,055bhp?!

Just a heads up to anyone else as unobservant as I was.

1,000+bhp cars have always been a rarity on GT, so it was a very nice surprise to see this beast lurking in the car list!

Yeah, since a good while ago. It was featured in a show that the Discovery channel aired yeeeeeeeeeeeeeears ago called Rides. There they explain everything about it. It's great that PD has a close relationship with Leno, after all he's an amazing source of cars for them to model. Actually Kaz, your car list should include the entire Leno garage...just a friendly pointer

If they bring back the Stage 4 and 5 tuning parts, 1000hp cars will be quite common.

On the other hand, I could bet this car is not going to have many parts available.

It's nice anyway.

I never said they couldn't have both. I'd just prefer to actually drive the original untuned '66 Toronado.

That and add turbos to tuningparts to US Muscle cars. I am still mystified at why PD just has superchargers only.

While I appreciate the opportunity you grabbed in using that picture, it appears that I wasn't the only one that wasn't aware of this.
Don't worry, the sinister urge governs my impulses. I just couldn't help it, sorry :ouch:

looks amazingly real! except for the pipes.... something went awfully wrong with the lighting on the pipes...

The exhaust tips are fine, but ya, the pipes themselves don't have a shader on them that look anything like any sort of metal.......

I'm pretty sure that all I'll be doing with this car is burnouts, and some straight line high speed runs. Even if I were to try to turn the wheel, it would still go straight.

If only they would've modeled the regular one. I'm not interested in driving Jay Leno's personal cars, regardless of how much BHP they have.

I felt that was apropos given the reaction content in this thread. I'd much rather drive Jay's iteration than the standard Toronado... given that it was a front wheel drive luxo-barge that was built on a rear wheel drive chassis.

I can only imagine the jokes about it's handling if the real version was included.

Funny thing, I just happened to watch Killing Them Softly tonight and Brad Pitt's car looked awfully familiar. Thought it had to be a Toronado it and actually is. 1967 model though, one year off GT6's model.

Second worthless Jay leno car to be included in the game.

A normal FF Toronado would be great.

I'd rather have a custom FF to FR muscle car than a front-wheel drive "family muscle car". Muscle cars should never be forced to be FF. YUCK! This is coming from a guy that has a slightly tuned Pontiac Grand Prix (it just looks and drives so nnnnice).

would be great if we had both.
