That the Coors Light Pole award in the NASCAR's is scratched out? Probably licensing issues... Or sets a bad example?

I think there's a few sponsor logos that are either blurred, removed or replace because of licensing issues or just because it's an adult product. GT5 is a PEGI 3+ game so yeah, need to keep it safe for the little ones.

Probably the same as Nascar games or even the die cast models, the cars with alcohol sponsors always have either the car brand or racing team as their sponsor.

Or they just blank it out completly. *Cough*LanciaDeltaRallyCar*Cough*

It does seem alitle stupid though, a little kid could go watch nascar on TV and see these anyway, and NASCAR on TV doesn't have an age rating.

Nascar is mostly watched by (fat) men.

Gran Turismo can be played by (young) kids.

Yes, kids can watch Nascar but most of them don't.

Give a kid a Nascar/F1 episode and he doesn't really understand.

Give him a game: he's sold.

Adult products in F1 are already banned.

That's because there is (as far as I an aware) a worldwide ban on the advertising of tabacco products.

Your wrong there, tons of kids watch NASCAR for the Wrecks (like me :dopey:)

Wow, I'm sorry, but threads like this make me ashamed to be an American.

PEGI is European. Even after someone had to Google that for you, some of you still haven't looked at it. NASCAR is American (and is not available on TVs around the world, after all, who would want to watch it). GT is not American, and is sold, in whole, in Europe.

Mind you, I would be even more embarrassed if the Coors logo remained in place. It is an American beer, and like American Chocolate and American performance cars, it is watered down and not worth it.

Exactly, as a kid I remember how unrealistic the modified sponsors were.

i dont think that banning alcohol / tobacco ads will do any help to stop alcoholism / smoking on childs. its hilarious that somebody can trust it. that piece of ads definately missing in automotive racing.
