Takes me almost $95 to fill mine. It's disheartening and I cry every time I pull up to the pump nowadays.

Got a Chevy truck and runs about $70US. Plan trips and write down destinations on a notepad then number them. Turn off motor at drive up windows.

I have the Collectors Pack Version 1 and the Collectors Edition. I haven't even use the chromeline codes from the Collector's Edition. I'll be getting myself the Collectors Pack 2 when I get the chance. Another collectors edition wouldn't hurt. My rig cost 20x more than that anyway and wife couldn't do nothing:) I only play GT5.

1- A game from ANY country in the world will work on your PS3 if you play it with an HDMI cable (therefore with an HDTV as well). Issues about PAL and NTSC arise when you connect via AV cables.

2- You can create a PSN account based in the country of origin of the game. If you activated your PS3 on your main account , you will have access to ALL DLC in that PS3, regardless of which account you login.

They are not exactly the same, just a tiny bit different. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=134007&highlight=chrome+line

I can't even fill my gas tank with $60.

The two that I compared to draw that conclusion, the murc and r8 were almost the same, but I just attributed it to mileage difference. Good to know they are slightly different, never looked at the weight.

What I'd like to get across is that the cars aren't a step up in the performance department...so don't buy them for that reason. In fact, I'd swear they handle a little worse.

How do you know this?

And what do you mean "If you activated your ps3 on your main account"?

I love this but it seems too good to be true, or It's true to some games but not this one. Or its going to work for the chrome line but not the stealth. If there is another forum or website with this info I would love to read it.

Even if the DLC shows up on every account, I still fear the difference in disk region will not allow it to be used. Wait and see.

I've ordered from Renchi before ... wasn't the quickest delivery ever and we got stung for import duty - other than that all was fine 👍

Wellllll...I have the Edge Camaro SS on my US account. I can activate the code and download the car but, it DOES NOT show on my UK or US GT5 garage.

DLC cars are region locked and cannot be traded or borrowed when put online. I'm almost 99.999999999% sure of it

It will work...sort of. I have the Asian Collector's Pack 1 and the disk works in my PS3 (I'm in Canada). All you need to do is create an asian PSN ID and download the DLC cars. Once downloaded the cars will be available to all the users in the PS3 you downloaded the DLC. You don't even need to use the asian account you created. You can use you US/Canada account or whatever and the DLC cars are still available as long as you use the game disc that came with the Asian collector's pack. The thing is you will start fresh as the asian game disc will create a new save game so your basically strarting from scratch. Your US/Canada save game is still intact, just put it the US version game disc and it will load the corresponding save game but you won't have the asian DLC cars.

Thanks for the confirmation, this is what I expected.

I can confirm this to be true. Downloaded the xmas chromeline cars on an Japanese account, couldn't access them with my austrian disc. However I know a person who's ordering all his games from japan (don't ask why, I don't even get it why) and with his disc they do work.

So as long as the second collectors edition is from the same region as your first disc you can access them all.

What's going on in this thread? Can Americans get all the stealths now?

You have to buy a copy of the game from another region where stealth codes still exist.

Set up a new PSN account to the corresponding region. Redeem the code(s).

But you will start the game from scratch. This is if you want to play the entire game over. Stealth prestige mode. :D

Do the original stealth codes have that restriction? I've heard of trading to get them, then just creating a new PSN account to redeem them and have them available across all profiles. Was that ever possible?

No need to create a separate profile they are available across all profiles automatically. So YES.

Do we know if this is the case with PAL as well? What confuses me is that I have some HK accounts that share my stealth cars even though it's NTSC codes and disc? Maybe because those particular model stealths are available in HK?

What is the difference in the file save? The extensions are different?

this may have been asked but is the game disc tied to the download codes in the collectors edition?

I'm tempting to return my standard copy of GT5 for the collectors edition but don't want to lose my progress.

oh dear call of duty references

Sorry to revive a old thread. I wish to know for collectors pack 2nd edition the following:
1) what is inside other than die cast gt academy gt-r
2) how many dlc cars?
3) which region is it?
4) will the dlc cars be automatically be in my current gt5 non collector edition?
5) can I use my existing disc (Asian edition)?
6) do I have to start all over?
Concerned cos I already have 960 cars and gt academy gt-r Asia. Really like to have the stealth n chromeline but it cost 158 over here for ce 2nd Ed. If it has all the dlc n I dun have to start over, I'll get it.
