I personally don't see what all the fuss is about - the hype surrounding his return, as if he was some returning messiah, was nauseatingly schmaltzy, and was always going to end in disappointment (see above). Still, in the fickle world that is football management, who's to say what the reasons behind it are. Ever since George Burley was sacked as Hearts manager after winning the first 8 games of the season in the SPL, I've abandoned all hope that the world of football management is based on rationality...
