Has there been any official word on whether or not The Crew 2 has cops yet?

It would be a real bummer if there were no cops. Has there been any word from Ivory Tower or anyone from Ubisoft about cops yet?

There’s none that I’ve seen in the closed beta right now and I don’t think they’ve specifically said if they’re in the full game or not.

Since the game is focusing on professional racing, I’d assume they probably won’t be in the game at launch.

They had a livestream on Twitch yesterday where they confirmed there were no police. I'll try to get a timestamp and will edit this post.

With any luck, we should see cops and chases in an update when the game releases, like how they had TC1 with Calling All Units.

I think this can be one of free updates. Some new discipline featuring illegal races with cops.
