btw, yes once, at a party late one night at my uncles house, i was young we were playing tag in the pitch dark and i ran head first into somebody

I remember being knocked out (along with someone else at the same time). It was really wierd. It was during one of my Lacrosse games at the beginning of the season. I was sprinting towards the goal with the ball and shot the ball as hard as I possibly could (my fastest shots were about 95mph last week) and the goalie jumped head first towards me to block the shot. The ball hit him in the face mask, knocked him out, and he then flew into me and his helmet hit my face mask. We were both out for about one minute.

Well that should teach you, mainly for playing some sort of sport.

Hmmm, knocked out eh?

I remember riding my bike down a steep hill and slamming the front brakes (like GT0 probably did), flying off the front of the bike and then getting knocked out from the impact. I was about 10 years old then though. Apart from that, I haven't been knocked out from being headbutted, punched, hit with a plank of wood, tripped and then hit my head on a table and walking into a cement mixer (It's a long story).

I can remember three times :D

Once I was playing hockey and took a blast from a puck to the head and my helmut didn't stop it.

Next was in a fight with some guy over money. He got one good punch in and I got knocked out.

Finally the last time happen a few months ago (winter sometime) I fell of my roof trying to de-ice the gutters. Damn did that hurt.

My older brother put me in some chokehold he learned while back in basic training. It passed me out for about 12 seconds.

Yes, although I don't remmeber it.. Seriously though, I was doing some flat-bench flies with 65lb dumb bells. I was on the last rep of a 2 hour workout....at about 90% fully extended, I couldn't get it up anymore. My arms just gave out. It happened so fast that my spotter didn't have a chance to catch them. Each 65lb dumb bell landed on my forehead. I was out for a only a short while, I stood up, with blood squirting all over the weightroom. I had a slight concusion, and ended up with a butterfly stitch over my left eye (on my forehead) where the edge of one of the dumb bells cut into my skin...

I've never been knocked out but I've knocked someone else out before. The first season we were allowed to slide-tackle in our soccer games, I made a perfectly legal slide tackle just as he was about to kick the ball. He kicks it and since my foot was right in front of it, he goes flying over it, lands awkwardly, and goes unconscious. He was out for a couple minutes, and ended up being carried off the field. He ended up being ok but that was crazy.

Yeah - ran headlong into a mate when I was thirteen. We were playing chicken on bicycles. Yes, I concede I deserved it.

I've taken a few other knocks to the head (including a pretty severe concussion) but not been otherwise knocked unconcious.

what inspired you to create this tread?

anyways i have not been knocked out ever before, kinda odd since people are nearly hitting me every day

OK! I'm sorry for that!! :grumpy:
J/K

I've never been knocked out, but felt like I was going to. Once during a soccer practice, I was playing defence too. This guy kicked the ball right into my face. I wasn't able to see anything for like 1 hour or so, with grass, dirt, and all in my eyes. That was one of the most painful stuff that ever happened to me..

I was hit on the head with a brick when i was 9 (Long story) I was knocked out for about 20mins ..When i came to i was covered in blood in the back of an ambulance..

I,ve also done the boozey bit many many times  :p

Been knocked up: Once

On one of my karate lessons, the sensei just put my female friend and me to do kumite. So I was just fooling around with her, and then she make a low roundhouse kick, and I fall. In the middle of the air, I lose my consciense, just to regain it and the time I hit the floor. When I regained it, the last thing I felt was a growing pain.

Also I kinda lost my sight. It happened two times, once, that moment of the karate hit, and the other, playing with my father. He shot and I apparently didnt measure up my jump and fall to the floor like piece of *hit. Then I lost my sight. Everything looked garbled, like a puzzle, I couldnt distingue anything. Like If I were looking at you, I could just see a big blur, and your head at waist level.

I was unconsious for a minute or two after flipping and being thrown out of my kart once.

And I've been knocked out for a few minutes once after getting a rock in my face.

i have been once unconsious over 2 hours... i was in a car accident... and the window glass flew right to my face and rip my right cheek... i still got some heavy scars on my face... i was in hospital about one and a half week...

at that unconsius time of 2 hours my brains were filmed 2 times.. cos the unconsiousnes lasted so long time, the doctors tryed to find out if there were some brain damage, but there was nothing in my brains just so god dam big bang in my head...

yep.... that's my unconsious story....

I was knocked out in a soccer game at school once. First thing I said when I woke up was "Ow, ****". The Headmaster was refereeing, but he saw the funny side of it, and let me off!

Hmmmmm? Is induced unconsiousness included in the deal? In that case...

Maybe 3 years ago now I had to have two boils lanced - one on my groin and one on my bum-bum - so they stuck me in a sleep and cut them open.

Now the scars look like bullet wounds - entry and exit wounds - and I use that to pull the chicks. :D

Once I smoked a big fatty during my first trip to the Rocky Mountains. That, combined with not having eaten enough, and the altitude sickness, caused me to pass out when I stood up and stay out for a minute or two.

Multiple times. Which likely explains many things (mainly my eyes)

Three different times while racing BMX.

My little brother hit me in the head with a glof club (skull is still dented).

Sister hit me with a rock (she went to throw it over my head and didn't clear it).

I miss judged a corner in a basment, and woke up 1/2 hour later upstairs from slamming my head into a concrete wall.

Skiing through the woods and clipped a tree (minor frostbite from that one as well).

And finally thrown from a horse onto a fence post.

Of course, my youngest brother used to ride halfpipe for Sims Snowboards and he held the record for number of concussions per team member with 8.

One time:

When I was 14-15 can't really remember. I was playing bike tag (tag with bikes, meaning your front tire has to touch the back tire of the person your chasing in order to make them it.) and I was it at the time. I was chasing the other boy in the neighborhood the same age as me and we flying on those bikes. I end catching him, but when I touched his back tire my front tire spun around and hit the frame causing the bike to stop on a dime and me to flip over top of it and land on the road with my head and left arm. I ended up breaking my wrist and was out for about 1-2 min. They were considering calling 911. It wasn't pretty. Remember I live in florida, and this was in the middle of the summer, so I was only wearing like shorts and a tank top. I had pretty bad road rash.

The joys of being a boy. ;)
