Have you ever lapped someone while on your second lap?

I don't believe I have ever done it on the second lap. I have come close a couple times, usually in the Classic Car cups, where there's always one snail in the bunch and I have a much faster car.

They allow any country of mfg in it, though. Which in hindsight seems pretty stupid since all the 70's US cars vastly outclass the European/Japanese ones.

Yes, it is stupid in a way. But at the same time, it really isn't. Opening it to all countries gives the drivers that are always looking for a challenging race something else to use. Me, I might try it in an old Celica or something.

I used the Chevelle. It had 700+ horsepower. So yes, I have lapped a ride-in lawnmower on a high-speed track.

Ive lapped a car on the 4th lap on super speedway. I was in the XJR-9 and the car I lapped was the Camaro LM car. The race was the SS endurance. I was lapping the Camaro about every 4-5 laps the entire race. Had pulled 3 laps on the sauber by the end of the race despite the fact I was pitting every 20 laps vs the sauber pitting every 40 or so. Pulled 5+ laps on everything else in a field that included the R89CP, R92CP, sauber C9, R390, and camaro LM.
