I don't see why standard and premium models wont be able to race together, the only things that i can recall that are different between the two is the standard cars wont have a modeled interior, will only have low beam headlights and some things with damage will be different

Damage in premium will be more severe (not simply "different") than in standard cars.

Well, there's no problem at all. It would just be a bit strange seeing some cars absolutely destroyed while others are still fine in a mixed race (standard + premium).

There damage is only different visually so I don't see what the problem is with Standard/Premium mixed races.

hellnback, I changed your post a bit to make it easier to read, ok?

Few questions about weather...

Question 1) So I wonder if the game is going to stop you entering an endurance event unless you have inters and wets, alongside your slicks... or at the very least wets... ???

a) will it let you live with your mistake and if you don't have 'em make you purchase them if you need them... what happens if you don't have the $$$$ at the time? Overdraft?
b) let you live with your mistake but make you suffer if it rains...

Question 2) Another thing, it may just be slight drizzle, slicks are still good but are inters better?

a) Is their way way to find out?
b) Does the game let you know by your team manager saying "#22 has pitted and put on inters and 3 secs quicker in first sector and 5 in second"?
c) Pure guess work?

Question 3) Can it rain on one part of the course but not the others? Nurb', Le Mans, (Spa poss.) are pretty big courses. Different intensity on different parts?

Question 4) Some kind of 'rain radar' feature? You know like you see the F1 Teams have currently. Enable you to guessimate/calculate where it will hit and when?

Think that's all that I had, for now...

1) "b" (at least I hope so).

2) "b" will be possible, I think. At least in B-Spec mode it most likely will. When you say "team manager", you mean another real player watching the race, right? Not the AI.

3) That would be very specific :D. My guess is that it won't happen.

4) A French website has published that "GT5 weather will play tricks on you". So I don't think there's going to be a climatic radar. Also, it's way more fun if the sky starts becoming darker and you realize that it's probably going to rain. Then you enter the pit and change your tires. And maybe it doesn't even rain after all :D.

All your questions are very specific. Would you also like to know if wind can move clouds?.
