Hi, if somebody has some experience with headsets, I want to know which ones are good quality, , and not so expnsive. It doesn't matter if they're wired. I really need one for BFBC2. :p

If you are in the UK, play.com have the official sony PS3 one for £17.99.
People have commented on how clear it is and it is generally great.

I use a Logitech Cordless Vantage, awesome headset. 👍 A bit more expensive than the Sony PS3 set though.

I would buy the official bluetooth headset from SONY. Great sound quality, battery life and comfortable, plus you get that neat on-screen battery and volume display whenever you press a button on it.

That's very nice.
I just tested one (a nokia bluetooth) and it did pretty well. I don't know how long the battery life is of though. But I really liked that one because it went over my ear. The PS3 one goes in the ear right?

Thx for the other advices, NLxAROSA and Aldo. Good spot!

One more vote for the official Sony, wearing one right now actually. The speaker goes into your ear and the rubbery-plastic-thingamagic goes over/behind your ear. Shaking your head won't do a thing to upset it, it just sits there. Needs some adjusting to fit properly though but an hour spent doing that is an hour that pays off greatly in the future. The sound quality is indeed great, better than an average mobile call and the battery is good for two evenings of continuous chatting.

One more vote for the Sony one. It sounds like the twelve year old screaming profanities and racial slurs is in the same room as you.👍

and another Sony headset recommendation. Got it, and happy with it. plus useable on oher bluetool devices (cell) and for 20 bucks.

+1 for the Sony Headset... Its the one I use and recommend as well... mostly because of the great compatibility with the PS3...

I have the official Sony as well. Got it a couple days ago.

Only downside I have is that it's literally a pain. Maybe my ear canal is too small, but when wearing that, I feel like someone is stretching my ear.

Then you got REALLY small ears, because I've been plagued with small ears as well and I have had no discomfort... You dont stick it all the way into your ear canal do you? :) You should just fit it in your ear and adjust the the plastic strap until it's tight on your ear and the speaker is pressing up against the beginning of your ear canal... 👍 Then adjust volume and youre set to chat all night...

OK, that's it, I've bought the sony headset at play.com. Way cheaper than in my city (40 euro's) Thanks guys for the tips!!

Now it's a long wait until I have it lol. :(

Yeah that was the annoying part... I had to wait a little less than a month for them to get it to me. Grrrr

if the price is right....lol

i have the same with all my games, need to wait 3 days longeer but at only 40% of the cost it would me cost here

another +1 for the sony headset, oh and the pain in the ear problem is actualy to do with the strap that goes over your ear (weird I know) had the same problem, you need to adjust it slightly, you'll find it's pulling the speaker up against your ear too tightly, feels fine at first and then starts to hurt as it rubs, losen it and all will be well!

I have been playing with
Philips SHP2000

Light, not expensive. Special shape make them quite comfortable.
HDMI to my monitor and from there the Headphones, do not understand this PS3 compatibility remarks.
