That's right. The kart is the lightest, and the Caterham beats the Subaru 360 by 16kg/35lbs

Wrong! The Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution Rally Raid Car, if you consider it a 'race car' per se is actually the heaviest, weighing in at 1825kg. The NASCARs are also heavier than the Storm, 1565 against 1438.

According the Wiki article on the "Tank Car" (actual name Blastolene Special) the car weighs 4,200 kg, and the engine weighs the same a a VW Beetle. According to the American Armoured Foundation Tank Museum the motor type that is used in the Tank Car weighs 2,000 pounds, but this of course would vary depending on the actual specs.

About the Pajero, is a Rally car, just like it's name says... sooo... it's the heaviest rally car on the game...

Yep, I remember that too The Storm is a beautiful car and despite it's weight it's a pretty fast racer, IMHO

Did anyone thought about the Buggati Veyron weighting 1888KG (untuned), the Mercedes-Benz SLR (19 inch wheel option), the Mercedes SLS AMG at 1600KG, and the Nissan GTR at 1700KG.

I'd like to see a tank car with added weight crash into other cars (or be crashed into). That would be something to watch.

So purpose built rally cars aren't really race cars? Does this mean rally racing isn't really racing? Better not tell the WRC people and all those folks at Mitsubishi and Subaru!
