then I don't think it is a premuim car if it isn't there it should be standard

I have a few good cars in my share folder. Go to x-J47-x in the Profile section and select one of my cars. The Ferrari is great to use in the Ferrari seasonal event on the Sarthe circuit. cr500,000 for a 4 minute race.
Oh and have you got the IS200 yet?
 
Nope haven't got it yet. Got a RUF though! Cool car, but not a real Porsche... My favourite make of car! Well, gonna sleep now and continue collecting tomorrow after school. See you later guys!

I forgot not everyone starts on the same first UCD, my first car was a grren lexus IS 200 ...not a good drift car lol.
 
@volkwagen, I have 10 profiles on GT5 now, you can get 20 million credits and up to about level 30 aspec just by doing the seasonals in just a couple of hours, with no repeats whatsoever, hone your skills there and you'll rack up big money and xp really fast. You can repeat most of the seasonals at will. Think of them as an ATM (cash machine) 👍 When you're fully stocked up with the cars you want hit the A spec for more of a challenge :)

Thanks for the Lexus! I've checked on mygranturismo.net and that Golf IV GTI RM '01 looks cool. It says it's a premium but it isn't in the Dealership?

1st this isn't supposed to be in this sub forum
2nd you need to do trades races buy cars as you should know you get 10 paints and mc everyday so you know how to get those the cars you can win or buy them or trade for them alot of people trade for the cars they need such as non paintable cars but it's going to be kind of hard to get alot of race cars because most of the race cars are over a million and you can't trade anything over a million i hope that helped if you want gear i might beable to send you some

used car dealership it has cars that you can win or trade for none of the ucd cars you can buy in the dealership

also there is something called a borrow glitch and if you do it right you will keep the car you borrow from a friend

@Volkswagen there is a way to get cars over 1 million its something called the borrow glitch someone found out how to do this glitch i guess because you can't send a car over 1 million if you want to know how to do it and there is a car i have that you want just let me know

yes you can if a friend has a car shared online his friends can borrow them and it is unlimited time but you can't use the cars online and good choice on not glitching

Buy the Golf IV in the dealer, take it to the GT Auto, then race mod it, then upgrade it. All RM's are this way.

Happy belated birthday... Everyone has given a lot of great advice on how to get going with this game. You should also consider doing the "Nascar" seasonal events, each race is worth 1,500,000 cr along with some additional gift i.e. car ticket or Jeff Gordon suit. The problem with these races is that you can only get these rewards once however, atleast you don't have to worry about purchasing a car for this race because one will be provided for you.

edit: As far as the gear goes, the Ferrari seasonal event is the best way to get gear and a in-game credits at the same time. The "La Sarthe" event is worth 504,000 cr as well as a helmet for 1st place, and can be completed in less than 4 mins. This race would be a great way to grind for credits and collect helmets at the same time.

Hi everybody,
I'm turning 17 in 2 days, and I got a PS3 with Gran Turismo 5 2 days early, thanks to my great parents. I know there are over 1000 cars to collect, but it doesn't seem to be going very fast. Can anyone please tell me how I can build up my empire of car collecting? And how do I get more gear and such?

The UCD and OCD is the place to collect your cars, the NCD is an easy place to start your collection because the cars are always there.

You can win gear from the seasonal events.
