I can not play Gran Turismo 5, he gets stuck in the menu
and i get a error code named (ID = 1, 531) can someone please me

The error in the op happened to me but i can still play. My suggestion is to clear up your network cache

Try turning off you internet connection in the ps3 settings. Solved the problems i had ages back when i wasnt getting good signal

i have solved it

i have changed the ps3 dns type to

8.8.8.8
and

8.8.4.4

and my subnet

255.0.0.0

Never rub a CD or DVD in circles. You do that with vinyl.

With CDs and DVDs, you rub from the center to the outside only.

Glad it worked out that way, instead of getting something expensive and solving nothing.

WTF? First, NEVER rub in circles and secondly NEVER rub against anything you have as clothing as it has lint in it which is what scratches the disk. We could also talk about static which is notorious for being a fantastic thing to add to any piece of computer equipment.

This was some of the worst advice I have ever seen on GTP. Under no circumstances do what Lambob has suggested.
