(help!!!!!) i have a problemo

hello, i am typing in this thread on a temporary xp profile because it says mine is corrupt, or a registry operation failed, so i've lost all my stuff until i somehow get back on there again. any help?

Go to Run and type in chkdsk to see if anything's wrong with the drive.

If you have admin rights on your temporary profile, your stuff isn't lost. Log in with admin rights, and go into the Documents and Settings tree. Rename the folder that had your real profile in it. Then delete your old user account. Create a new user account, and log into it.

Then log off and log back into your temporary profile. Go back to Documents and Settings, and copy all of the folders (including the hidden & system folders) into your new profile's folder.

If you don't have admin rights, you'll have to have your administrator do it for you.
