NEWDRIVER2Hi sir i think for this zz11 more high in the back like 30F 70R that what i have in my car .
NEWDRIVER2If you want a good tune for it with aero or not take alook of praiano's tune he have 3 tune 1 with aero online play and two with out aero 1 of them online :-).
Like Sir Robrabitman said its about your suspense some time so it can be 25/75 or 30/70 .
MrMelancholy15I won't advertise, but, my Winter Stars Tuning Garage won first and second in the Driver's championship last year in the Rolex Sports Car series, in GT class, and clinched the manufacturer's championship after 6 of 8 rounds. There was an Audi R8 on every podium of every race, and more often than not, BOTH R8s were on the podium.
We generally used between 40/60 and 30/70.
My rule is: 30/70 during qualifying, and 60/40 during a race. Also, the LSD can help you get the front to rotate, while controlling the rear at as much as 20/80.
I hope this was helpful. "Hanna" was a great car last season. I gave her a 15 hp bump, and now the tune's up on the Winter Stars Tuning Garage thread.
I'm looking to drag. But, it was helpful for races. Thanks

MrMelancholy15Woah, 50/50 works great for drag, IMO. Sorry, I didn't see anything for drag specifically. However, the 50/50 means that all four of the wheels are all working to give you as much forward propulsion as possible.
In real life, in order to run 50/50, you really have to beef up the transmission and drivetrain in the front of most AWD cars, but, we won't get into that for GT5.
DaDDyMELONo that's alright I should of specifically told what I was looking for but when I run 50/50 it doesn't feel as great as it was when it was 35/65

NEWDRIVER2DaDDy can i ask you about you ride hight if its 35/65 i think your Front ride is more than the rear maybe like this let say F -15 R -25 correct me .
MrMelancholy15That's somewhat surprising, actually. I find that 50/50 AWD cars take off faster (at launch) than any other cars in the game. A Skyline R32 with a custom center diff can out accelerate a McLaren F1 up to 60 km/h, at least. Then, it depends how many times people upgrade the motor of the Skyline. I disapprove of adding more than 400, because the car isn't aerodynamic or efficient enough for much more than that, but, I must just say, the 627 hp BMW V12 is a good motor.![]()
robrabbitmanThat could depend on your transmission. If your gears are not right, you may bog down. Shortening the gear could fix this. Otherwise, you may need to start biasing torque to the rear until you get the fastest launch with the least amount of power lag.
Front lower than rear!
MrMelancholy15I suppose it could allow for more weight transfer to the rears. I stand by my theory, that, as long as you're at your ideal rpm's at launch, your car will do best with AWD 50/50, but I could be wrong. I've never tested it.
One day we should run. We can both test our theory's.
MrMelancholy15In the same car/tuning setups?
MrMelancholy15I'd be down for that.![]()
Sure thing I'll be on tomorrow ! Need to go to bed its almost 3am over lol

Wrong, in GT5 a torque split of 45/55 is the best choice for the most cars. Only a handful cars work better with 50/50.For dragging, like previously stated, 50/50 is ideal.

Who can explain the R32 with a stock drivetrain its torque split is 150F I believe -50R its crazy makes me laugh every time.
When tuning AWD cars. The Drivetrain Torque split should be higher where? Front or Back?
Best solution for a torque split for an AWD car such as a ZZII?
